Hi Kogent. Congratulations.

I am just a touch older and smoked for 45 years. After having flirted with e-cigs 12 months ago, giving up because it was too messy (and never really stopped smoking). Four months ago I just decided this was it. I studied up everything I could find and simply made a choice to stop cold. As long as I could feed my nic addiction, I now had everything at my disposal to stop.

But you really have to want to stop. No closet smokes. The need for the nic hit has abated over time but it is still there, particularly first thing in the morning over coffee and after dinner. With a few solid vapes the nic craving disappears and all is well.

I do have a few friends who have had messy experiences, but I learned how to maintain my clearos to avoid gurgling, dripping and leakage. Once I had mastered maintenance, vaping has been so much more pleasurable.

Cheers.

Remember to have fun with this. There is a lot to learn and some of it takes practice. Best way to clean your tanks that hold the juice is to run them under hot water. For the heads you also rinse under hot running water and then do a soak in vodka. Rinse then let dry completely before using. Good luck to you and glad you are here.
Thank you for the cleaning advice AND FOR THIS ARTICLE! I'm about 3 weeks into vaping and didn't know the proper technique. It makes sense, though.
