Hi, I am Lance J., from Freeport Texas (or) DeRidder, LA. depending on the time of the month :)

I have read where people are having difficulty quitting.

I find this odd, as I have had NO problems converting over to e-cigs, and I suspect it may be in the actual cigarettes being smoked by the individual, some additional "addictive" drugs other than nicotine.

To solve this, I would like to see a poll, asking people having difficulty quitting, what brand they are smoking to pinpoint the problem.

Or has this been done already?

There are quite a few threads on this very subject. Not a lot of "polls", as in fixed answers. Polls (and threads) are a bit unscientific, but they can give a general idea of what people here (not in general) have gone through.

I think what you'll find is that there isn't enough data to make a generalization (to begin with) and that from our limited resources, it would appear not have have rhyme or reason on how/what/why smoking is hard (or easy) to quit. I stopped over the course of a week - I still have a sense of nostalgia though - does that make it hard? It's really subjective, but if you're planning on doing a well based poll, think about the structure a bit and how the statistics are going to effect the results.
