hello everybody.

I've been smoking for 3 years now and i finally decided i would like to join this AMAZING club! my friend gave me his eRoll to try out and i loved it but i hated the fact that it has a really small tank (only 0.5mL).

What i bought :
- Ego twist 650 mAh & a charger

- Kanger t3 and an extra atomizer just incase lol

- Cinnamon roll (50/50) and french vanilla(100VG) from MBV

Im so excited i cannot wait.... Do you guys have any advice for a noob like me?

I appreciate it :)

Welcome to ECF.

Your friend may have just saved your life. buy him/her a beer or some e-juice at least.

Not a bad 1st setup purchase. Check out (search) for cracking of plastic with certain juices. IDK if the T3's suffer from that or not.

You'll want a 2nd battery soon, so you can vape one and charge the other. The motto is..."backups, backups, backups!"

Congrats on finding e-cigs and welcome again.

Get a back up, maybe a 1100mah, that way you have a choice in capacities. If you don't like your juices, hold onto them your taste buds are just starting to recover and your tastes will probably change. Vape your equipment, some times it takes a wile to dial in your set up, lot's of folks first reaction is to assume their set up is just not capable enough and then run out and spend a bunch of money on new gear. Get to know your equipment and over time you will figure out what your looking for. Drink lot's of water, nicotine dehydrates, PG/VG dehydrates. As well as water will help detoxify ya......so Iv heard. Stay strong and stick with it. Congratulations!

Congrats & welcome to ECF!
Sounds like you got a great set up, I agree with AttyPops get a spare battery and maybe a few back up coils and you're good to go! Cinnamon roll and vanilla e-juice sounds great! Yummers! :vapor: As for adding water to you're e-juice on a 15ml I'd add only .25ml and use distilled water only.

Yep, second battery is a must. So you can use one while the other is charging. And a second charger, too. They can fail, and Murphy was an optimist...

You'll want more coils for that T3. No "lol" about it, you'll need them, or the material and tools and skills to rewind your own coils. Besides, if it's your only topper, it's going to see a lot of use, and will need changing. Especially the juice you're using. (Not making comments about juice, we all have our own tastes. But they'll gunk up the coils fairly quickly compared to other flavors and rations of PG/VG. Just be ready :)

i can't verify this but i have heard that the cinnamon juice eats plastic tanks.

This could be scuttlebutt, maybe someone here can correct me on this.

It's a chemical reaction between some plastics and certain juice flavors. There's a thread around here somewhere. But yeah, it really rots.

Cinnamon is one of the most common.

Why should I get coils and rebuild it myself if I can change the whole atomizer for 2 dollars? :p

Welcome and Good Luck!

3 day Noob as well. I smoked for 26 years. Got a Lavatube V2 and a Kanger protank 3 days ago - smoke free for 3 days. This setup actually is working for me. Tried patches, gum and the V2 cigs - still had cravings. With the current setup no craving so far (fingers crossed). Using Blue Water Punch liquid and have some Shark Clove on order. Glad I found vape before it was too late.

No particular reason, I did say "or."

Some like to recoil at different values than are available, some like to use different material for wicks, some like to test out different coil arrangements.

But heads are relatively cheap, and a lot easier. I usually do both - have several heads ready to go, and set the used ones aside until I get enough to make a rewind session worthwhile. No need to rebuild, and until some solid vaping experience is gained, I wouldn't recommend rewinding. It's important to know what it should be like before you try to make it yourself

I once suggested that recoiling and RBA talk be banned for a newbie's 1st 6 months of vaping (I was joking)...boy did I get in trouble! lol.

But...

You don't HAVE to recoil anything, ever. Also, people shouldn't start out with recoiling and not have other standard stuff around. E-cigs have enough learning curve as it is...recoiling stuff from day 1 is a bit too much unless you at least have some standard cartos or something to fall back on.

That said, it's certainly worth investigating as it can save tons of $$$ over time. That and DIY e-juice.

However, those are mostly cost-savings issues. There are certain reasons to DIY or recoil, like favorite juice recipes or contents, or certain devices/ohms/setups that require recoiling because you can't buy off the shelf. But that's usually for later when you get some experience.

You need to know what an "OK" vape is. A standard vape. And focus on getting stuff working. Crawl->walk->run.
