I've been reading the postings on this forum for awhile, and finally decided to join. A few years ago when e-cigs first came available in the city I lived in, I first started with a disposable, then bought the set with the disposable cartridges, needless to say, I was never satisfied, I expected real tobacco taste. I learned a few tricks on how to refill the disposable cartos, but eventually gave up on them. When I moved to another town, a guy at the lumber yard had an e-cig that I had never seen, typical ce4 tank and e-go battery, but I had never seen them, eventually I got one and amazingly I just suddenly stopped smoking real cigarettes, I had finally learned not to expect real tobacco taste but to find a flavor I liked, problem is I get bored of the flavors after about a day and now have an inventory of about 20 flavors, then decided to buy the unflavored juice and flavoring concentrates, so working my way there.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on quitting! I've only been around here for a week or so (after lurking quite a bit), but have found everyone to be fun, friendly, and helpful. I'm lucky that I live in a place with lots of vape shops with tasting bars, so I go vape-tasting every now and then. If you don't have any shops, I many online vendors have sample packs that are relatively inexpensive. A couple of threads that might be of help in this regard are:

Welcome aboard!

Hello All! New member here, but have been analog-free for 4 months after 40 years. E-cigs rock! Wife quit at the same time and we both have NO DESIRE to light up ever again. OK...when I smell the smoke off of someone else's analog, I have a bit of desire (smells like steak, lol) but then i always did, for some weird reason, think that was a 'delicious' smell. Don't know whether I've been vaping vg or pg as I buy from Smoking Revolution, and they claim "pure organic" but...thinking of mixing my own flavor now using pure VG. Pleased to find this site; hope to be here often. Smiles to all...it's great to vape!

Hi everyone! I'm new too. Rugbyluv, I'm pretty sure you're probably using VG anyway. VG is vegetable derived while PG is not, so I don't think PG can be organic. But good for you for the DIY! I've been vaping for about a year and a half now and am still too scared to get into it haha. VG is thicker than PG, so just be careful about gunking up your wicks.
