Thanks for all the info, I have been using disposables since last Thursday and had one analog on Sat. I am about to order my first "real" e. I have been looking at the E-Go c and was wondering if anybody offers a starter kit with the twist batteries. I haven't seen this as an upgrade option anywhere but hope there is.
If not I may just get an extra but I don't want to spend to much since I never know if I'll like it.

Hi buddylee and welcome to ECF. No there are no Twist starter kits so you'd have to buy 2 batts, a charger and a wall adapter= $50?. If you don't mind size for about $53 with discount you you can buy an Apollo VTube:
Apollo VTube Kit
Promotion: You can use code 'vtube30' to get 30% discount while our vtube stock lasts.

Welcome to ECF! I just recieved my iTaste and love it...had the Lava tube first, but find it bulky. Like the vv on the iTaste without the size. Have an eGoT for backup, like that too just for when I go out, its my old faithful, but of all the ones Ive tried so far, the iTaste is my fav. Nice warm vape and good taste, not too mention a sleek design....no Im not a salesperson! LOL

Hey and welcome :)

Angi2299 is right, nhaler has the best priced pre-built ego twist "kit", but all you need is 2 batteries, some stardusts and a charger - if you look around you may be able to build it a bit cheaper, but I don't think it will get much better than that for the basics.

It's not much more expensive than most starter kits and I don't think you can go wrong with an ego style battery as your first "real" pv. Egos can use anything that is 510 or ego threaded so if you want to try out cartomizers or different clearos you can easily do all of that. The vv on the Twist is a nice bonus as well :)

Few weeks ago bought a friend/ convert an eGo C WITHOUT the tank. Instead it came with clearomizers. After a 5 min tutorial he was up and running and hasn't had an analog since. Just for price comparison and the actual kit here's the one I bought for him:
eGo Vision Stardust & Extreme Vision Custom Kit 1100mAh
Realize 100 mah batteries = 1 hr normal vaping before recharge.
Kgo/ Riva is a also a great PV cuz it's true 3.7 volts.
here's an Ecig glossary with "most" terms
http://www.ecigology.com/e-cig-glossary/

Thanks for all the replies and the ideas. I'm still trying to absorb it all. I never realized there were so many different types out there.

Have you ordered yet cuz there's discount coupons? Which vendor?

Thanks for the help. I decided to go with the KGo. I can add a twist battery and another charger to it for the same price as the other was. I ordered about 10 different flavors to try also. We'll see how it goes. Until it starts getting here I guess I'll keep buying this crap I've been using.

Hey everyone, this is my first post :)

I used to smoke 5-10 analogs a day. Ordered the eGo-c starter kit from Happy Vaper - Canadian Quality Electronic Cigarette ECig E CIG E-CIG/Personal Vaporizers and DIY Smoke Liquid and I love it, highly recommended for those just starting vaping. Got the Smoktech DCT for it, very happy with it. Between me and a friend or two, go through one of the 650mAh batteries a day.

Don't splurge and spend hundreds of bucks when you're starting out is my best advice, get something simple yet effective. Play with different pg/vg ratio juices (70/30 is a good mix for throat hit, IMO) as well as standard or low resistance atomisers (SR or LR), as well as tobacco vs fruit flavours to know more of what you like to vape!

4 days in, and loving it. Only had a few pulls here and there on analogs, they're falling into obscurity and the past for me very soon.

Best of luck with your PV journey.
