Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. I just signed up with ECF but have been lurking for a month or so. I switched over to ecigs about 2 months ago after smoking real cigs (analogs?) for nearly 40 years. Still allow myself to have the occasional analog but am down to no more 4 or 5 a week now and continue to convince myself when I do allow one that I like the taste of the ecig much better.

I've read enough now to where I'm strongly contemplating delving into the DIY world both in terms of juice mixtures and rebuilding coils. This site is so helpful! Hopefully I soon get to the point of being able to contribute back to the community.

Right now I'm using a very basic setup of 2 650maH Ego-C twists with throwaway CE4 tanks until I settle on my next upgrade but its working well for me so far. Probably going with a Vision Twist 1300 maH soon for longer vape time between charges.

One question if I may... Where do you get those graphical signatures that give your stats on how many analogs you've avoided and how much money you've saved?

Thanks!

Rattlin, bypass the Twist and go get you a good mod like Sigelei, MVP, etc. Purchase a Aspire Nautilus w/ coils. Then you can start your journey right. I went your route after 60 yrs. of smoking. Now I have one of the better mods and Kayfun rbas. This way you save money on coils and can experiment to find your sweet spot. Just saying. Put those analogs down for good, PLEASE.

Thanks all for the advice and supportive words!

Jscheiben, thanks for telling me about the 'support banner'. Click the link... too easy... sometimes I can be a little dense :)

Olefolks, thanks, I will check into those models. That's part of the problem, there are so many to choose from! And yes, it is my goal to totally quit analogs. Even when I have one now, I wonder why afterward as I get no better enjoyment as with an ecig. Plus, I immediately want to wash my hands and clear the taste in my mouth. I'll think I'll be there soon.

So glad you finally started posting. You've been missing the best part. Some wonderful people here. I used the ego style batteries for a long time but if you are looking for something that is easy and has a fantastic battery life....the mvp2 is wonderful. I was taking about 1100 toots on a single battery charge.

I hope this helps on the sign/banner. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/little-girl/784-signature-banners-part-1.html

Congrats to you and I look forward to reading more of your posts. I love reading these because I always seem to learn something myself. :)

Happy vaping.
