hi everyone. i finally got around to opening an account and posting a thread

So i got my shisha pen (or at least the new battery for it) a couple of days ago an have came off the smokes now so feeling pretty good. the only thing is i ve just started using my new liquid, marbro flavour by blue star, and I'm disappointed cause its no where near as strong as i had hoped an you don't get a very good throat hit off it. i was using the liking's tobacco flavour which i loved and Ive read a post on how its fine to mix liquids so I'm going to try mixing the tobacco with the marbro flavours an hope its better but my main question is this, what lower cost brands have good throat hitting/strong flavoured liquids? the cigarette or tobacco flavoured ones in particular i.e. marbro, g virginia, lambert, bensons, etc?

and also would any of you say that the fruit/sweet flavoured ones give you that same satisfaction as the cigarette flavoured ones or am i best adding a little flavoured liquid in with a stronger cig flavoured one?

thanks

A few things:

Some folks say that it's best for ex-smoker's to start with non tobacco flavored juices. You will probably never find a taste/throat hit that is exactly like your old cigs.

Taste is very subjective. Very few people will like the same flavors/brands, and even if some do, they will inevitably differ on how they rate the throat hit/vapor production. Your best bet (my opinion) is to try as many flavors/brands as you wallet will allow. When you find one you like, you can keep buying it or go the DIY route and try to replicate it. That's going to open up a whole new journey. I mostly DIY my juices, but I still have to order Johnson Creek Red Oak Domestic, because I have yet to find a flavor that matches it that I can make myself.

Please keep in mind that this is my opinion only, and you are sure to find other opinions here as well. Most importantly...congrats on switching to vapor, and welcome!

I'm not sure if you can get these from where you live, as they are pretty new and still rare here too, but the most cigarette resembling liquids I've ever vaped are Quadrato by the italian Niswa & Vida S.a.S.
They come in Mar-B and Luk-S tastes and they're pretty cheap too (around 3-4 euros for 10ml) and they have an excellent hit (especially the Luk-S one)
Anyway, about flavoured juices, since you seem to like strong tastes like me, the most satisfying liquids I've vaped are anise based (I particularly like dripping the ones by Atmos Lab). Give them a go if you like, and also try to add something like that here and there and see what comes out

no worries, its opinions taht i wanted, no one will ever get the rean answer they are looking for by reading it off a label or anythign like that ^^ i wouldn't have thought that uing a flavoured liquid would work very well with me using my pen to actually quit but iwll give it a try. unfortunately my purse willl not allow me much of a range at the minute so im hoping to strike lucky and get just the right things first time around but thats a pretty high hope (even thoguh american tabacco by liking was probably the best thing i could have started with, i think that will be the one i will end up using as a base for any mixes i make in the future)

also if you want to make larger batches of the same liquid, whats the bes t way to store it? can it just be put into any old sealable bottle or container or does it have to be in bottles made fo specific materials or do they are to be almost air tight?

its a shame but i searched for all these liquids and cannot find ANY of them online available or purchasable from to the UK =/ vaping is pretty new here in the UK and their is only the occasional small stall popping up here and their in certain cities, their is one thats just opened u pin my town centre but they are very expenccive and i think they are just selling the cheap ebay products like the fake ego batteries at extortionate prices. i will have to do some research and find a genuine shop somewhere close where i can get smoe good liquids from =) ill keep an ey out for these brands as yes, i much prefer the stronger flavours that have an impact and want to find something thats readily available. thanks =)
