Hi there.

I'm going to jump right in to my questions and comments. A friend of mine bought an njoy NPro and I tried it and loved it. So naturally, wanting to at least cut down on analogs, I came here and read about it. I ordered the NPro starter kit and I got it six days ago.

At first there was good vapor, but it only lasts about five puffs. I love the flavor of the regulars, but I think the vaporizer might be the problem.

Anyway, I really like vaping (pardon me if my e-cig terminology isn't good yet, I'm a real newbie), I like the flavor, it gives me the action of smoking that I like but I'm turned off now because of the low vapor problem.

I'm thinking of returning the NPro and purchasing the Joye Tech 510 Elite Kit because I'd like to have more control of how much vapor I get, want to experiment with flavors, etc. I've even thought of exchanging the NPro for the NCig because a video I saw on here showed a lot of vapor with it and, like I said, I know I'd like the flavor.

I'm sure a million people have already asked these questions, but I'd really like your expert opinions:

Is a 501 (specifically the Joye Tech) a good purchase for a newbie like me?
Where is the most cost-effective and best customer service site to get one?
Will I be able to control the amount of vapor I get?
Do most basic liquids taste similar to the NPro regular?

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm really anxious to find something that I know I can stay with and not get frustrated.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Jim started a thread where you can ask about this model at
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...28177-questions-about-rn4081-ask-em-here.html

There is a learning curve with all e-cigs, and you might as well learn to use that one to make sure e-cigs are for you.

I do recommend the 510, but you'll have trouble with it too if you don't understand how the liquid vaporizes and how/when to add liquid to the bridge inside an atomizer and when/how to refill. Might as well figure all that out on what you already have.

I know, it IS frustrating not to have them work like a ciggy right away... but you will get all the answers here on the forum. I spent hours reading my first couple of weeks.

Just wanted to say Welcome! I am still fairly new myself and don't use the 510 so I can't give advice on that other than the thread Hellen posted for ya is pretty helpful...
One thing i do know is the only way to "control" the amount of vape you get is by using a "mod" and not wanting to confuse you (I am still confused by them all) I will let you explore the site and learn about that on your own... there is a section on the mods and in various forum sections you will see many posts about them...
You will also find that liquids have some relevance to the amount of vapor you get... experiment and explore- best advice I can give... read lots and lots of reviews! Watch lots and lots of videos-
everything is here to give you a decent amount of knowledge...
Also, go to the top of this forum (New Members area) and read the Sticky:... The Wonderful World of Vaping by Don Da Boom Vape- It is very long but very informative!

I can only say that I am a very happy 510 user. There are drawbacks to the 510, but with some practice and experience you learn to overcome them. In fact there are drawbacks to every ecig it seems.

It took me a week of fiddling with filler/cart mods to get something I like and can easily handle. It took weeks and many many samples to find the juice I liked. The batteries drove me nuts until I got a a charger that handles multiple batteries. (My wife converted too).

Good luck and hopefully you will enjoy your 510 more than the other model.
