Hello, new guy here, so I figured I'd welcome myself tothe forum! I'm a 50 something year old and have been smoking cigars since the70's and cigarettes for about 10 years. I guess I'm a typical new ecig user, trying to use it to quit real cigs. Only been at it for two weeks, but sinceday one, I've had absolutely no urge to light up. I've settled in on the eGo-Csystem. A small amount of research indicated it is a good way to start, plusCigNot handles this brand and they have a retail store close to me. Fair, butnot the cheapest prices, but actually having someone experienced shows me thewhole process in person means a lot to me. Good people there. My confidencelevel in vaping is high enough that I've already spent several hundred bucks inequipment and spare parts, and I'm anxiously awaiting delivery of a niceselection of juices from a couple of different vendors, as well as DIYsupplies.

Thanks to the forum for being a great source of info!

Welcome! Sounds like you dived in headfirst! I thought about maybe getting into DIY juice but I liked supporting small business, so I'm sticking with my local store for now

I always dive in headfirst! I immerse myself in any new interests or hobbies. Knowledge is good.

Congrats on quitting and on the eGo-C Clyde. I smoked cigarettes for 10 years as well and I switched to cheapo KR808D1 e-cigs about a year and half ago and haven't looked back. As of a few months ago I switched to the eGo-C and I'm loving it. I have the occasional cigarette when I'm having drinks with my friends who mostly smoke but I've not had one single inclination to buy real cigarettes since I quit. Gotta love these things. I vape High Caliber American 55 e-juice and love it.

Keep it up, if your experience is anything like mine you might never need to light another cigarette again.

Cheers,
Devin
