Hi everyone...just found out about e-cigs a couple of weeks ago. Ordered a starter kit and waiting for it to arrive atm (hoping that it passes our strict customs)

A smoker for 20 yrs and hoping to lower the number of analogs or kick the habit thru vapping. Hope to spend more time here in the forums, reading up the posts and get some new friends here.

Welcome chkben - You will find this forum has the most helpful, hospitable and knowledgeable people so just ask if you have any questions.
This industry/hobby is moving so fast it is had to keep up with all the new and improved-. Don't get discouraged if your first started kit has problems. The good folks here will assist.

welcome, ever since i started vaping, i cut down on analogs to the point that i have had 4 in the last 4 days. (one a day), normally i was at one to two packs a day.

I can relate, waiting on mine too, but no customs issues, just slow shipping.

thanks for the encouragement guys...but it's disappointing to find that the ecig is banned here in my country and yet there are "sources" around but it's near impossible to find it without fella vapers letting you in on the "sources". Really keen to vap and hope that it does cut down my analogs.

Congrats on working toward either cutting back or cutting out analogs. Great decision !

Reading your post about e-cigs being illegal in your country or area (while cigarettes are probably legal) reminds me to be grateful that I can drive to a number of local shops to get gear and juices. I applaud your determination considering the barriers you have to overcome in order to vape.

Yep...hopefully the kit comes in about 1-2 days time after waiting for about a week for it to ship from apollo. Will post what's in the kit and if I'm able, some 1st-timer experience as well. Till then, gotta continue "absorbing" knowledge from the experts here.

Sigh...just got a letter from the post office that my package from the US has been detained. Guess I'll either have to try another source or give up the attempt to vap.

New-ish member. Been vaping for over a year and never turning back to analogs...although I have one every once in a while (then immediately regret it).

Started on cartos from vapornine. Moved to clearos from vapornine. Looking to change my set up as an Xmas gift to myself. Not quite ready for mods, so I'm thinking of going with the Kanger eVod.

I've experimented with juices from vapornine, heather's, vaperite (they're local), and Mt Baker. I prefer semi-sweet tobaccos and coffee flavors.

Are you in China? I travel there (Xiamen) a few times each year. Am curious if there are any storefronts for ecig supplies, or if the makers only sell wholesale. There is one maker in Xiamen and a bunch in Shenzhen, would like to visit one of the stores and stock up. I have some friends in China who want to switch to vape after seeing my rig, but they can't find them there. One of those crazy things, it's made there, but you can't buy it there.
