Hi all! New here as the title says. My husband and I just got the Joye ego-t kits a few hours ago after trying a "bandy" (that's what our brother in law called it) a couple weeks back. We actually liked that one too, but after watching youtube reviews and speaking to the vape shop people we picked from the ego line.
He and I weren't heavy smokers, went through a pack a day together on a seriously stressful day. We were "creatures of habit and location" smokers that went nuts when we tried to quit with lozenges and patches though. Went with 24 juice to start, thinking it might be a little much but would curb cravings better than 18. We have both strengths though just in case. Caramel macchiatto, atomic fireball, and sour watermelon are the current favorites. I thought it would be really hard...but I'm actually surprised at not missing cigarettes at all. Though that may just be a first day thing? I find this satisfies my cravings so well and tastes SO MUCH better that all I feel right now is relief at a choice well made. Hopefully the feeling lasts!
The shop we went to was great. I don't want to name drop in case that is in violation of rules, but they were very helpful and let us try 3 different types with any juice we wanted. We were in the news today for storms and tornado touchdowns, so the shop people told us to stay there and ride out the storm in house on their juice LOL! Our daughter was at school though, so when tornado warnings were heard on the radio we opted to bolt home. It was nice of them to offer though, and I feel like we are off to a good start with a great proprietor.
I found these forums looking for the correct way to drag off a e-cig, and it was very helpful. Holding the button down 1-2secs before makes all the difference! I find I release the button a little before I'm done with a drag, though I don't pull hard, I wonder if that will bust my atty? I'm happy with the 5 click on/off feature as well since we have 2 small children. The juice is locked up, and we'll store them at night with batteries charging and the atty's in a safe place elsewhere just be sure.
Love all the info here, going to put the search feature to work as an official non-lurker now!
