New Member looking a way to cut down smoking

Hi to all,

I,m from Singapore and has been smoking for 17 years. It happen just today I saw my fren smoking an e-cig bought from JB.

And now I,m posting here looking for more answer to clear my doubt.

1. Does e cig really can cut down smoking?
2. Is there any side effect?
3. Where can I buy in Singapore?
4. Will I get caught for smoking this in the public?

Hope any of you can give me so answer or explanation as a true user of e cig.. Thank you!

1. Does e cig really can cut down smoking? Without a doubt, yes. Usually without even trying, it's just better!

2. Is there any side effect? E-Cigs have a tendency to Dehydrate the user, and there is (Optional) Nicotine in the juice. So yes there are side effects, but they aren't serious side effects - and not even close to the amount of Side Effects of Analogs

3. Where can I buy in Singapore? Not a clue. Online is your best bet, really.

4. Will I get caught for smoking this in the public? "Caught," definitely. People will ask you about it, but will you be punished for it in any way? Most likely not. It's not illegal, second-hand smoke is non-existant, and the exhaled Vapor dissapears, leaving no smell or lingering nastiness.

The e-cig can get you to quit smoking completely! It worked for me, even though I wasn't planning on quitting. I've had no side effects from vaping. In fact, my life has improved because of the switch. I can breathe easier, run up the stairs without getting winded and take long walks. I don't cough when I wake up and I don't get sick as often as I used to.

I'm not sure where you can buy them in Singapore or if there are any consequences if you are caught vaping in public.

I have quit smoking using e-cigs. I was smoking for 20+ years and before I stopped was smoking about 30 cigarettes a day. I had tried other ways of quitting (nicotine patch, nicotine gum, etc.) without success. Once I started using an e-cig, I cut down on the number of cigarettes I smoked. After a few weeks, I quit smoking cigarettes completely and just use my e-cig. My wife still smokes cigarettes; but I have no desire to go back to tobacco.

Some people do have allergies to some of the components of the liquid in e-cigs. The liquid can contain propylene glycol(PG), vegetable glycerine (VG), or a combination of these two. It may also contain nicotine , water, alcohol or flavorings. If you have any allergies to any of these components; you can get liquids that do not contain that component.

I am not familiar with any suppliers in Singapore; but there are lots of internet suppliers. There is a list of suppliers at the bottom of the main forum page.

I was a two pack a day smoker fo the last 10 years. I have not had a cig in over a month since I started vaping. And I feel much better than I used to. Just be ready to answer the questions from smokers and non-smokers about your vaping.

And like others said - they work great but you need to not buy junk. If you buy junk like a $10 e-Health e-cigarette then it will not work great. Buy something decent, figure out what eliquids you like, and they work great. Buy spare parts too because parts can wear out. Most people are able to quit smoking cigarettes completely. Some people even quit accidentally with no intention to quit. Ecigs are that good.

There are some legal issues I do not understand but other Singapore vapers can tell you about that.

It works for those who dont give up on it before they find the pv and juice that works for them. I started with a Blu. If the battery's could have kept up with me and gave me more vapor and throat hit I could have got off analogs faster. It wasn't until I got a Ego and then a lowrestance atty that I said good bye to the analogs. Now I use a 6volt mod and get ridiculous vapor and throat hit and battery life.

That what helped me decide to quit analogs and to make my move towards e cigs. I hope I will be feeling the same soon.

It helped me stop a pack a day for 30 years, I feel no side affects except that I am not smoking 4,000 cancer causing chemicals! It depends on local laws whether you can use ecigs in public. Look for local suppliers, since you are in singapore, China is close to order from. Healthcabin is a good china supplier.
