New member, lurker, sigelei 20W broken, TWICE!

Hey there everybody, new member here, been lurking for some time now, finally posting for some help. Does anyone know of a way to open up a sigelei 20W? I need to open it up and have the center spring pin replaced. This is the 2ND 20W that has had the center pin spring break on me within 1 weeks time. Both time it happened with a kayfun clone built 1ohm firing at 20W. Before the pin broke the device got very very hot at the kayfun base, so i suspect the spring under the pin cant handle the heat? I need to open it up and find a better spring or permanently fix the pin so its not sprung anymore.The spring pin is now recessed under the white washer, n if i turn the device upside down the pin will stick out, but once i have it right side up the pin falls back inside. The first time it happened I thought it was a manufactures defect but this time it happened under the same conditions so i believe the spring is the culprit here.

I'm not entirely sure that it is the same set up, but I have the Hammer mod by sigelei and I had the same problem with the spring pin. I just took out the old one, and made a new one by wrapping a paper clip (small, thin paper clip) around the 3/32 drill bit I use to wrap my coils and used that to replace the stock spring. I have not had an issue with it since!
