Long time lurker who, until now, has found an answer to 99% of my questions on ECF without ever having to join or post. However, now I have a question I have been unable to find an answer to anywhere.

I recently purchased a Seven-22 as a step up from my trust MVP 1. Has been great, but wanted to move on to other attys and ohms that the MVP just cannot handle. I have been enjoying the 722 for a couple of weeks and have finally come to the conclusion that the only apparent weakness of the device is the center pin. I have noticed I have to adjust the center point out depending on the atty I am using. While typically not an issue with my kayfun Black, I have found that I have to take the pin so far out for my igo-w or protank that it will come completely loose. From what I can tell the screw is too short, although it looks like the 722 will take a longer pin. So, I have been looking for the screw size and threading so I can look for an appropriate replacement that will solve this problem once an for all. Unfortunately, I have no way of measuring the threading. Really a shame I have to do this, but if pioneer4you had been able to stick with the original spring-loaded design - or provided a slightly longer screw - this likely wouldn't be an issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the replies, folks. The hardware stores did not have a gauge that could measure a screw this small. However, I was finally able to determine the measurements, which should be M3x0.5x4, although I could be off and it could be a M3x0.8x4. My plan is to purchase a couple of M3x0.5x6s, M3x0.5x8s, M3x0.8x6s and M3x0.8x8s to see how they do. Problem now is finding a high conductivity screw. I have thus far been unable to find gold or silver plated screws of this size outside of Chinese manufacturers who want a minimum order in the thousands. I also haven't been able to fins one that is cheesehead style.
