New member-magneto 2 not firing

Okay so I got the magneto 2 and has been working fine for a several months now and today I put a new build on it and it is not working anymore I am not getting it to fire and when it does fire it's random it's also getting a little hot on the button on a few of those fires. I'm currently running .28 ohms on a plume veil with a 18650 3.7v 2100mah 30 amp
battery I've done my calculations and I'm only just over 13 amps so I know I'm safe. I've taken apart and cleaned all contacts sanding then polished with wire wheel. Still no fire. Any way to take this switch apart? Why still no fire my build to low? I wouldn't think so.

Tear it done, clean all of the threads, check where the firing button is and make sure those are tight as well. I use my Magneto exclusively now, and I have to tear it down once a week and clean it all up. And when I say I tear my down, I mean I unscrew every little thing I can and clean it.

Anyway to take this switch apart? I think thats the only other spot i could have a loose connection. I've taken it apart and cleaned it already all threads and connections.

Just above the lock ring there is a "dimpled" ring. Unscrew that and you will be able to access the switch.

Oh wait, you did that. How do the brass contacts look? I polish and clean mine, occasionally lightly filing them down to there is fresh metal.

I sanded them lightly and polished with wire wheel on my dremel. Looking at the pic above do u know if that switch comes apart. I tried unscrewing the dempled ring with no prevail only a few scratches.

I already took apart the 510 connection and pin checked the spring inside and sanded and polished connections.
Just started acting up today after putting a new build on it lower than ive gone before. Dont know if thats the issue I dont think it would be tho.

Try holding the metal part on the top of the switch, and unscreweing the actual fire button.

As far as the new build goes, what type of battery is that?

I'm at a loss. The VTC4 should be able to fire that no problem. Usuallu, heating of the fire button, or any other part of the mod, is due to a bad flow of current through that part.

Yea its had me stumped the last 4 hours still cant figure it out thanks for the help tho. Batteries got a fresh charge all contacts are clean i adjusted my 510 up to my atty wondering if thier is slight gap on 510 connect. Really don't know what to do.

The heat would come directly from where the current isn't flowing correctly.

Loosen the brass ring around the magnet (in the tube part, not the switch) just a little bit... Not to much or it will autofire.

Got it working it was the spring in the adjustable 510 connect was smashed thier for not making a connection between the top and bottom pins in the 510 connect. Thanks for your help guys.
