new member need help

hi, i'm a new member looking for some help, i purchased a new "spinner 1300mah VV battery" and i just assumed i would be able to charge it up with my regular ego 420mah charger, which i use to charge a 1100mA ego-type battery, now heres the problem i have...when i try to charge the spinner 1300 mah on the usb charger it is flashing red..not a constant red like when i charge the ego battery, is it damaging the new battery? will it even charge like this?

any help is appreciated thanks!.

I'm not sure what it means, but for example, mine glows red when it is charging an turns green when it is finished....and no, egombatteriesnhave built-in protection to keep overcharging from damaging your batteries... I've found out that google is your best friend when it comes to vaping ;-)

Hi KeepCalm,

You should be fine using your ego charger to charge your Spinner. I've not got a Spinner myself but do have a Twist & when I charge that the light flashes between red & green on the charger while charging.

Fully drained battery the usb will be solid red, next goes to flashing red and green. Finally when fully charged should be solid green. Could be the battery is partially charged and thus the flashing red.

thanks for all the replies guys....the charging changed to red then green rapid flashing, and now its a solid green, SUCCESS! now its time to enjoy my first VV battery!

They do hit well, just have a back-up of some sort ready. The 1300's take roughly 10 years to charge. Okay, maybe 10-14 hours. Maybe you'll have better luck with your charger...

hmm mine took about an hour to charge but it i think it had a pretty full charge when it arrived...i might buy a faster charger soon.
