Hi Guys,

This is such a great forum I have been reading and reading on here for a couple of days and just am overwhelmed as most newbies are so I just had a couple of questions if thats ok. I bought a smoketip e-cig and some carts a few months ago and have been trying to kick the small habit of smoking since my new child was born for the last couple of months. I am not a heavy smoker...mostly a few on the golf course and maybe a 5-7 smoke a day habit if work is beating me down but normally well under a half a pack a day with the occasional binge while on a boys weekend. I am more of a crave smoker for those certain times...morning coffee, beer in the evening, golf, etc...but I have been vaping on my new Smoketip for the past couple of months to supplement. I think I have a slight PG sensitivity as I have had a few hives off and on since I have been vaping more and I have been scouring the board for some possible solutions to get off of regular smokes completely and still enjoy a good vape without any side affects.

Anyway I have almost depleted my supply of carts from Smoketip so I was looking around for something new. Would you guys recommend me get a whole new system if I am going to go full on with VG? Or can I just get some blanks and start filling them with VG only?

Also I prefer the standard cig type look and feel with the 808 I have with my smoketip but wouldnt mind something that vaped a little better and didnt give that awful burt cart taste if I try to swap batteries mid cart....

I am not into sweet flavors, just want a cigarette like flavor to kill the cravings and enjoy with a good beer or single malt every now and again. I am a parliament light guy for the most part with the analogs.

I am open to all suggestions and help so any info is greatly appreciated. Great forum with great people! Thanks very much.

I think since you want 100% VG you are not going to find an 808 cartomizer that will wick that thick of a juice, but having not done it myself I can't say for sure.

You could get a KGo with a small tank, the 3.5 ml DCT tank from Hoosier E cig supplies and slot your cartos to go in it. PBusardo one of the most respected e-cig reviewers has produced a fine video on how to do this. Just enter that name into google and his site should come up. Then search his reviews and see how he slots his cartos.

This might take you a bit of learning here. If you are handy it might be pretty easy. If you aren't so handy, it might take you a bit longer to learn. But what it works.

The other option is that hoosier also sells these cartomizers that go in the tank pre-punched with 3 holes that are probably better at wicking the pure VG juice.

Johnson Creek makes some 100% VG juice that I've been using on my 808 (Volt) without any trouble.

Tenessee Cured is one of my favorites. There are also others that people will tell you about, we all have our favorites.

As far as 808 style cig look-a-likes go, many will tell you the Smokeless Image Volt is the best of the bunch...and I agree.
