Hello, my name is Luke and I was introduced to the site by Spraintz who happens to be a friend and co-worker. After watching him move from cigs to the e-cig 2 and a half years ago I decided to finally make the change from periodically smoking a pipe and cigars to vaping.

He introduced me to a local shop here in Dallas and I ended up buying a Lavatube V3 as my first mod. So far I'm loving it, I know its not a ProVari but as my first I knew I wanted a VV but didn't want to spend a ton of money right off the bat.

I've actually perused the various how-to threads/vids and have learned a decent amount in a short time. That and Spraintz has been very helpful. I actually have a g-tank on the way as well so I'm excited.

Thanks for all the great info you all have provided here on the forums!

Grats. Welcome to the ECF.

One thing you might want to know though about your Lavatube is that it lowers the voltage on dual and triple coil cartos without telling you. I think it maxes out at 3.7 or 3.8v no matter what your LED screen says (people have tested it with a voltage meter). It's not a dealbreaker but you should know in case you ever decide to try them. I know they have some fans out there.

Here's a link to my blog, The Vaper's Handbook, which is a wealth of information for beginners and veterans alike:

Thank you for the info, you mentioned it effects dual and triple coil Cartos, does that mean it works perfectly fine with Atomizers? I ask because as I stated I have a g-tank on the way and my understanding is that it is a atomizer tank. I just want to make sure there won't be any performance issues with the new hardware and any future add-ons that I intend to invest in.
