Hello I am a new member of this site, and new to electronic cigarettes. I was a smoker for a little over 7 years, since I was 15. I loved smoking but like everyone else knows Its bad for you. I got into electronic cigarettes about a month ago and it has been two weeks since my last cigarette. I currently own a V2. My goal was to get into electronic cigarettes to quite smoking and eventually quite this too. Boy was I wrong. This has become more of a hobby for me. I have watched almost all of Grimmgreens videos and some others. Next weekend I will be buying the vision spinner (ego twist) from madvapes. I live in North Carolina around the Charlotte area. I am not much of a fan of buying things online (I hate putting in my debit card info). Lucky me I have madvapes near by and Carolina E-cig (which is where I bought my V2 from). I am willing to buy online as long as the company is reputable.
Respond please if you have any information that you would like to give to help this newby out. I also am looking to meet up with some local vapors to talk and compare, So let me know if you are in the Charlotte area

Welcome to the community. Glad to see another NC member. I am from Rocky Mount, NC and I have been enjoyed vaping for about a month now. Finally got off the stinkies haha and I was a Newport smoker for 9 years. I also started out young but I was about 10-11 in the 4th grade. I feel much better now that I have quit and I have noticed I am starting to be able to hold my breath longer while in the water. Improving lung capacity is always a good thing. Your luck to have a good shop near you though. The closest one to me in in Clayton, NC. I visit my family in Albemarle, NC which isn't far away from your area so I am that way a couple times a year. Congrats on quitting those stinkies though and hope you see the positive benefits of quitting like I have.

Welcome! There are a few of us from cackalacky that hang around here. I'm a bit far away for any meetups though.

I think myfreedomsmokes is near Charlotte. Pretty good ejuice, and their hardware usually has a 20% off coupon. They were one of the first vendors I ever used. Fantastic customer service!

Anyway, I hope you find your bearings.. It really does turn into a hobby.. But I don't mind. It beats the alternative!

Welcome! Myfreedomsmokes is near Woodlawn and Tryon. Smokeanyforpennys is in the eastern portion, closer to Matthews and Indian Trl. I prefer MFS over all, MadVapes a close second. SAFP has a lot of sales and the best customer service. Hope you find one you like!

Welcome fellow N. Carolinian! Your story sounds a lot like mine. I started with V2 as well but soon graduated to Egos which rock big time and now on to 18650 battery mods. The V2 is a fine system and I recommend it to anyone just starting out. Simple and easy...and best of all very cigarette-like. I find their online site First Rate and have had ZERO problems or concerns about them. Two others I have dealt extensively with are Gotvapes.com and MyVaporStore.com. BOTH are excellent HIGH QUALITY dealers and offer good products at resonable prices. I trust them both and use them often. In any event you simply MUST learn how to clean your V2 cartos and refill them. It will save you tons and will let you explore the wonderful and mysterious world of e-juices.
