Hey my names Bill and I'm a truckdriver in inner city Philadelphia. I originally started trying to quit 1/3/11, so 9 days ago with an njoy NPRO from 7/11. It was decent and it did help so i gave it to my mother when my new pv arrived. Two days ago i recieved my new PV the Infiniti Ion by Revolver and 9/10 times its perfect and i think it will be better once i learn how to use it precisely. Anyway, my main questions. Anyone else switch from Marlboro Smooths? What flavor do u use? how often should i be changing cleaning attys? is the blue foam that much better?

I was a Marlboro Smooth smoker (well, I do still have a few now). What I found is that I have never found a menthol juice that I can tolerate. I love the coffee flavors, specifically Espresso and Cappuccino from Backwoods Brew. Sometimes, the flavor of cigs we like are not easily replicated in carts and juices for e cigs. I stopped using the regular carts a year ago and now use cartomizers which you can now purchase for your NPro. Give them a try. You can get flavors for the cartomizers, or you can buy blank ones and fill with your own e liquid. IMO, the vaping experience is way simpler without the muss and fuss of fillers and atomizers, but it is only my preference. You may feel otherwise.

Hi, Bill! Welcome to ECF!

I didn't smoke Marlboro Smooths, but I do vape a lot of different flavors. Everyone has their favorites so which flavor you decide on is completely up to you. I like sweet flavors and coffee flavors. I only recently discovered a tobacco type flavor that I love. It's Mocha Smoke from Gourmet Vapor.

I usually clean my attys about once a week or so. I just soak them in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol for about 15 minutes and let them dry overnight. Some people just rinse them in hot water and others just blow them out once a day. I usually rotate attys so one isn't really getting more use than the others.

Is blue foam better? Hate to say it, but this is going to be another area where it's going to be what works best for you. Some people love it. I'm not one of them. When I was using carts I was partial to the Fluval plug mod.

Welcome to ECF. When I first started vaping, I ordered small samples from strictly ejuice, and I ordered some blue foam too.

I liked the blue foam better than the normal cart filler, but some people prefer the white stuff.

As a truck driver, you might be interested in something you don't need to refill or screw with as often. Check out the new tank system for the Joye (one site calls it the Tornado Tank System) - batteries will last all day and the tank holds something like 1.5 ml of juice....that should get you through a days deliveries...I think it's worth checking in to....

Hey guys thanks for all the info so far. As for rotating attys. How often do I need to do so? Another thing is I'm loving my new ion but I'm having a lot of trouble knowing when the prefilled carts are empty advice? I have like 20 more and don't wanna waste em.

use the search gadget at the top right and search for Marlboros Smooths (use Smooths, not smooth) and then check the threads where people are discusses menthol flavors.

Are you using carts (push-on plastic and stuffing things) or cartos (cartomizers that screw onto the battery)?

Hi Bill I'm also an Ion owner I used to smoke Marlboro lights I'm not sure if the smooths are a menthol or regular but if they are a regular Revolver has a tobacco red that's similar to Marlboro regular and they have a menthol that's pretty good as well.
