Hi everyone!!! This is my first post and and I am one week without analogs. Just purchased various juices and have learned lots so far. Thank you all!!! A few questions?

- Has anyone tried Bacon flavor from Mt. Baker Vapor - I am so Intrigued I just ordered it?

- How do you know how much of a PG/VG ratio you would need/want for your liquids? What is the difference?

- How do I know what strength to order of nicotine?

Any feedback would be great!!!!!

Thanks so much!!!

Welcome and congratulations on your first week tobacco free!

I love bacon, but the idea of vaping it has always kind of grossed me out. There are people who like it though (there much be, since vendors sell it). Now if you really want to consider something scary, look at this one (my apologizes to anyone who likes it, but I'm sorry, you are weird): Phoenix Arizona Roast Chicken E-Liquid Vapor Vortex

The flavor I was actually trying to link to was Roast Chicken and Potatoes, but the vendor isn't ECF approved, so I can't post a link. There are several odd flavors floating around. Off the top of my head I can think of pizza, roast beef, Worcester sauce and jalapeno.

I agree with starting at 18mgs or even 24mgs if you smoked more than a pack a day. As far as pg/vg: the higher the vg, the thicker the liquid. Unless you know you are sensitive to pg, I wouldn't start with more than 50%, since it doesn't wick as well.

I've been tempted to make up a waffle, syrup, and bacon juice. You know, for those mornings you want a big breakfast but don't want to bother making or getting one!

Think MBV is working on something like that. I seem to recall he mentioned it in his suppliers thread.

Standard suppliers juices are typlically around the 70-80% pg and 20-30% vg. PG is a thicker substance that has an increased TH compared to VG. And VG is thinner but increased vapor production. The ratios suppliers use are generally the ideal mix for most people.

Jeriko, I believe you got your PG and VG mixed up concerning thickness; VG is thicker than PG. A minor point unless a juice's consistancy is an issue.

You will find PG/VG ratio's vary vendor to vendor. I would call a 50/50 mix more the norm than any other. Most custom-mix e-juice vendors will make your mix in any ratio that you wish. If a vendor recommends a particular ratio, I go with that because they know their juice better than anyone.

Not all juices need to be steeped, but frequently the custom-mixed juice will benefit with a 1-2 week steeping period. I sniff all my new flavors to see if I can detect any alcohol, chemical, or perfume smell to them; if so, I shake them vigorously and then uncap them, store them in a dark cool place overnight, and then recap them (this allows for any alcohol to evaporate). Reshake daily, and after a week test the flavor.

The darker juices, VG heavy juices, and tobacco, coffee, and desert flavors benefit from a longer steep time.

ERMAHGERD!!!! I'm a bit of a maple bacon doughnut connoisseur and this flavor may just have to happen. Perhaps it'll be my break even present!

I know this chick who throws a bacon party every year for her birthday. People make all kinds of dishes, and they all have bacon in them. There was bacon ice cream one year, meatloaf in the shape of a cupcake with mashed potato frosting and bits of bacon sprinkled on top. I want to vape that bacon donut flavor at the next one.
