New member saying hello

well the rules said I must post here 5 times before I can even think of posting in another forum, so- Hello.

I purchased my eGo about a year ago but only tinkered with it for a bit and kept going with the analogs. Now I am ready to give up those nasty, stinky things and have been using the eGo only for the last week. I am really enjoying it and the quitting analogs is feeling very easy.

I just ordered some new pieces parts to try out and make my stick longer lasting (cartridges get old fast). I ordered an Evod and a vivi nova mini tank and can't wait for them to arrive and try them them out. I think my next purchase should be a new battery; maybe one with variable voltage. As a newbie, all the options are pretty overwhelming, but I am learning.

I read somewhere that some juice makers use actual tobacco as flavoring vs the "standard" that is more chemical based (silly to say since everything is a chemical). Is there any flavor difference between the two? suggestions on a supplier? For now, I am most draw to tobacco flavors but I imagine I will expand over time.

I am looking forward to learning from many of you.

It isn't that the actual tobacco is used, it's a different process than isolating just the nicotine. What is used is called Whole Tobacco Alkaloids (WTA) and contains more of the alkaloids. If you scroll down the main page and look for Aroma Juice under suppliers, there is info about the process. There is also threads in the General E-liquids discussion forum. Cheers!

Hello and welcome. If you have a local store go their and try some different flavors. I recently found a local one and now I'm obsessed with try before you buy ordering online is good but actually trying before is better for me and they have multiple different tobacco flavers.

Thank you Loughy, I have tried to find a local shop here (Cleveland) but there does not seem to be one. I am in Pittsburgh often enough so if there is one there I will check it out.

The vape shop in Pittsburgh is in west mifflin. It's kinda sketchy on the outside but inside is nice and the people are real nice and helpful and they make their own juice so yes please do give it a try if you are down this way.

I have also given thought to opening a shop. I'm in Washington south of Pittsburgh and there is nothing between Pitt and you.

now I have NO idea what that one looks like but the one here in Cincy is wayyyyyyyyyy sweet! They have this huge bar and it's lined with e-juices to try... there must be 80+ flavors on it. You walk in and they hand you a lil rubber tip and a battery, you just walk (or sit) along the bar pickin up clearomizers pre-loaded with all the cool juices. They also carry a full line of PV needs....

Welcome to the ECF! I think the EVODs are a great choice for a Bottom coil, and with some proper care and maintenece, the heads can last a lonnnng time (Obviously, you have to clean them for this to be the case)

I've tried the WTA, and its good stuff, but I don't think I'd vape it as an ADV (bit too pricey for that), but for a lot of folks its that final piece of the puzzle to kick the Nails into the trash. For me, since I was fine with regular liquids, I didn't need it.

I've heard EXCELLENT things about Altsmoke, makes me wish I was in that area to try them out!

Thanks for the welcome JL. The Evod should arrive today and I am looking forward to trying it. I have been using the mini nova tank for a few days and have been enjoying it. Not having to refill often is a huge plus. I am starting to see how and why people get caught up in trying all the different options in pieces/parts that are available.

The WTA's are pricey so I think I will order some to try. May hope is hat like it for a now and then special juice treat but not like it so much that I will want to use it daily.
