Hi there everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself and say a big hello and thank you to everyone on the forum :)

Been a smoker for 16 years now and it got to the point where I had to do something about quitting. Now I enjoy smoking but obviously not the health side of it all so I started looking into the digital alternative.
So I looked through the web and came across a few sites, some that looked good and some not so good.

I ended up ordering an E-cigarette product from a company called Espro as their site looked quite professional and stocked all the bits I would need for when it came time to ordering replacements and so on.

Well my experience was not a good one, after many calls, and emails to them and false promisses, 2 weeks passed and nothing delivered and they stopped responding to me altogether

I now have to claim my money back from them and just wanted to give any members or people like me a heads up to avoid this company because they have caused me nothing but trouble.

On the plus side, it's probably a good thing as I then searched more in depth into e cigarettes and found this lovely forum which has been a huge help and lots of info which I have put to good use :)

I purchased a Mega titan 510 kit from TW a few days ago along with a few extra's which I recieved today. It's all ready to go, just waiting for the batteries to charge up and hopefully will be on the road to a healthier vaping experience :)

My mum went into hospital last year for an infection and she was in there for a month. Now she was a smoker for 40 years.
She did not smoke while in hospital and she has not smoked for over a year now and I am really proud that she has stuck it out :)
The downside for her is that she now has a Juicyfruit habbit :D

Anyway, that's enough yapping away,
I look forward to learning more and once again, thanks to everyone for all their imput here which has helped me no end in finding a better product and how to get analogue free.

Cheers all,
- Mark :)

Welcome Mark! Inspiring to hear your mum kicked the analogs and you're going to as well! Hope you are enjoying that 510. In the event you continue to find difficulties getting a refund directly from the vendor - did you purchase with a credit card? You should check your card-holder documentation but often buyer protection is included. This is also true for checking accounts from some institutions. Happy vaping!

Hi guys, Thanks for the welcome!

Cheers for the info Tarheeldan, I purchased the original kit using paypal, and have already filed a dispute and so on, so there should be no problem in getting a refund as the other party will need to provide proof of posting which is unlikely considering they never posted anything :nah:

Well, my batteries are all green but I like to give them a full on charge the first time around to get good life from them.
Roll on 6pm :D

All, being well, I will probably get a few of the shorter batteries for when out and keep the pole vaults for home use lol

Well I am glad I found this place too, as I think it will be life changing for many reasons.

Well, hows the newbie vaper doing then?
First day started half way through the day so I had smoked a good 15-20 analogs that day.
First time I tried the new NI with TW tobacco (18mg) kind of made me feel like the first time a tried smoking with a bit of coughing and spluttering lmao.

This was probably down to the different taste or strengh that I am used to from the analogs (Marlboro lights) or new atties I am guessing, but I got over that quickly and although not a big fan of that particular flavour, I am now enjoying it a lot more :)

I also ordered the choc mint at the same time and I have been vaping this flavour mostly since starting a few days ago.

Day 2 saw me smoke only 5 analogs and yeasterday I only smoked 1 analog which I did not really need but hey, it's better than 30-40 :D

So far no analogs today, and am will try to stick to just the NI from now on as it is obviously doing it's job and I really wished I found you guys n gals sooner :)

Just ordered some more 5ml liquids this morning including chocolate, Vanilla, Coconut, and a few others to see what I like before ordering more, also got a passthrough as it seemed like a good idea as well.

I think I will be getting right into this vaping lark :D

Woohoo! Fantastic, Mark! I like the attitude, best not put too much pressure on oneself. Did you get a 5v no batt PT or a 3.7v batt one? Just curious, I was gonna get one but got eGo/Tornado stuff instead and need to rein in the spending ;)

Pretty sure the one I am getting has a battery so would be a 3.7v I guess.

It is all too easy to start spending loads of cash on bits and bobs but I am trying to be gentle on the wallet as well although already spent £140 in the first week now but knew initially would cost a bit, but I know I am saving money already.

Does anyone take into consideration the saving on other things like lighters/fluid/matches and how much the little things end up costing after a year too, although maybe that would be offset from the electicity bill for charging batteries lol

Looks like my collection of Zippo lighters will be gathering dust pretty soon as well  :)

How you getting on with the Tornado then?
I almost for the same but being the newbie, I wanted something as close to an analog in terms of size although the 280ah batteries are a bit on the long/girly side haha.

Haven't thought about the little expenses - good point! - though I think you might be right that, on the margin electricity bill increases probably about equal those. The Tornado's not here yet :( I'll let you know how it goes when it does. I actually just ordered the battery, cone, and charger adapter ($40 total) to use with my 510 atty's and carts. I hear you on the "girly" aspect, even the regular 510 batts, being about the length of 100's made me feel a tad conscious....for about 30 sec until I took my first puff.

On the Zippos, here's an idea: zippo

Good idea with the zippo's as a cart case  might have to give that a try.

Still no analogs for me so the vaping seems to be working really well.
I have the odd thought about a real smoke now and then and still have a pack sitting right in front of my to test my will power but I don't feel the need for them at all.
Obviously if all my batteries were to explode, I think it would be a different story and would not think twice but the alternative is doing just what I was hoping for :)

Tried out the other flavours that I got the other day.
The Marlboro is not too bad at all, nothing special but pretty good.

Chocolate is a bit off imho, tastes like cocao powder kind of dry chocolate so will probably give this a miss in the future.

Vanilla I quite like. Quite smooth but maybe a touch too sweet an aftertaste.

Coconut I really like this and will be ordering more in future.

Banana seems to be very bland in the taste department. Nothing wrong with it but may nothing to write home about either.

The mint choc is still being vaped away which was my first flavor I started with and another I will be re ordering when running low.

All the above flavours are the standard TW liquids at 18mg.
I imaging that the ECC liquids are the same as well.

I really should start posting in other threads as well but I am a newb and what do I know

Welcome Mark and good luck with the new habit...Just waiting for mine to come in, so I too can join the ranks of health smokers...or vapers I should say.

Thanks Llotek, and good luck to you too.
Let us know how you get on as well.
It's early days for me but so far I think I have taken to vaping like a duck to water :D
