Hello All. I'm new to the forum & just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I quit smoking analogs after 37 years this past February 6th & have been vaping ever since. My daughter talked me into it. I dove head first into researching & reading everything I could find about vaping. I have already decided to start making my own vape juice because I can see that it is so much cheaper to do so. I figured that I used to spend $40-$45 a week on a carton of cigarettes, so I can at least afford that much a week to spend on vaping stuff. I have been stock piling flavors & printing off recipes that I want to make, altho I have only made 1 120ml bottle of ejuice so far, I can't wait to make more. There are so many wonderful recipes out there. I'm just the kind of person who when I decide to do something, I give it my all. I just got the Vandy Vape regulated squonk & I like it so far. I have been using the Smok Mag with the prince tank up until now, but I like the flavor I'm getting from the rda a lot better. I hope this is where & how I was supposed to post my first post introducing myself!

Howdy and welcome:)
Seems like you are well on your way
I'm trying. I have also just ordered me a bunch of wire so I can start making my own coils too. I got 10 diff sizes in Kanthal, SS, & Nichrome. I been watching youtube videos trying to watch how to do it. I figured that I just needed to get the wire & watch & do it at the same time to actually learn how. Wish me luck!

Building your own coils isnt hard at all, youre on the right track by watching videos on it. Wicking properly is a bit trickier but fortunately, theres videos on this too. Practice does make perfect, but be prepared to make a few mistakes along the way. There is a definite learning curve and some attys are harder to build on than others but its very satisfying when ya get it right. Good luck and enjoy the process

Welcome to the forums and to the hell of DIY...:D

Next thing you're know is that you'll have over a hundred flavours, a gallon of base and still be stuck wanting more to try new recipes... it's quite a rabbit hole.

Just remember that while you order 100$+ of flavours, you'll consider how expensive it might seem, but then, if you do the math, you'll realize that for that 100$, you'll be making 10x more liquid than what 100$ would get you in pre-made stuff.

Then after a while, you might try a pre-made bottle and see how much they have sweeteners and fillers in them, might even taste that chemical aftertaste you get from the pre-made stuff.

I know that I'd never be able to go back.... and I've yet to hear different from those that I've given some of my liquids to.

And them building decks for RDA and RTA, same thing, once you learn to build well, you'll never look at a cartridge again.
