I would be quick to point out that even having a degree in engineering doesn't make me an expert on all things engineered, and many of us have/have had some pretty wicked cars. Unfortunately we still had to learn about advanced methods of
vaping. The fanciest PV on the planet is for naught until we learn how to use it properly. The first SS mesh wick I ever rolled "worked", unfortunately a dirty sweat sock would have been a better wick! The first coil I ever made measured exactly 1 ohm, unfortunately it vaped like 0.1 ohm because of the hot spot. The list just goes on and on about learning how to make different types of wicks & coils.
Learning
WHERE to buy batteries is more important than learning
WHICH batteries are safe to use. Take our word for it, what is printed on a battery is not always true. There are more counterfeit batteries around than you can count.
A couple of years ago one of the major players came out with one of the first 'made in China' VV mods. The kits contained "AW IMR 18650 batteries". Unfortunately AW doesn't offer
ANY flat top batteries.
Bottom line is that the key to safe advanced vaping comes from education, not the list of mods that we buy.
But there is a thread here in the noob section to post pics of your nice collection.
