Hi all, another newbie here.

I wanted to get my first post in and thought it fitting to give a shout out to V4L. I was quite pleasantly surprised by how professional the entire experience was. From ordering, to shipping, to receiving and ENJOYING.

After several weeks of agonizing over all the zillions of choices and decisions. Finally saying bollocks to it all, Leaford is now at V4L, so I placed my first order.

Received on Thursday last week.

After smoking analogs for 35+ years, at a current rate of 1.5 packs per day or less (I am a bit of a control freak that way), I am now STILL on the same pack I opened last Thursday! (5 cigs to go in that pack, full flavor, full tar, no lights for me).

Frankly, I am amazed at that. I did not buy an ecig to quit analogs. I just wanted something that was less damaging, less smokey, less harsh, for LONG drives (I travel around for a living and easily spend 8-14 hours in my vehicle), as well I wanted something for the same reason when at the computer during office times.

Imagine my surprise when I first started and found that I went an entire day and the only analog I had was in the morning, one by accident after lunch, and one on purpose after dinner. :D As I have been going along these few days, I've found more and more that the analogs taste like crap compared to cola, coffee, and watermelon.

Seems I've learned that nicotine is part of the story, but mostly I like the act of smoking. Frankly still do like the act (hence the few a day). Don't like the taste so much (only touched a couple of tobacco flavors and went back to coffee and cola).

Now to my bigger surprise, my wife. I didn't tell her until I tried it myself to see what all the fuss was. She has tried and, as many of you have guessed, I am placing another order to V4L. :)

I've rambled enough for post number 1, so I'll save my thoughts on government intervention for later.

Just want to say, count me among the converts.

More later,

Max

The morning cigarette, the one after eating and the one to prolong eating were the hardest for me to over come with vaping but thanks to V4L i no longer require these and actually realized i didn't vape for over an hour the other day after waking up. Also as an FYI any flavors you get that you dont like initially, save em, chocolate banana was gross after stopping analogs, but a week later ... totally awesome.

Happy vaping

Another convert here. After finding a product that worked for me, Thanks V4L, I have pretty much stopped analogs all together. Last weekend I bought a pack, I was doing a music gig and drained my batteries, but for the most part the e-cigs are doing the job. Love the USB manual. I have an adapter in my car and it works great.
Ain't technology grand!

LagSTer,
Good point, I was going to 'boil' them and use the blanks, but I think I'll hold out for a month and see how it goes. Less than a pack of analogs in a week, without really trying, is truely astounding. :D

GuitarG,
I'm almost looking forward to my next car trip in a week or so. :D In my case, the Commander has a USB port, so no adpater necessary. :p

Joyimui,
Were you as happy as I at the professional presentation of the whole package? Even my wife, who thought at first it was some webkid sorta thing, is now onboard. SO much that I just placed a $500 order to V4l (minus the nice 'mayflowers' 19% discount'). Thats 2x 35+yr smoking converts. :D

Sherrick,
Thanks for the welcome. Yea, I'm reading all over the place. Have 15tabs open at the moment to read through. Knowledge is power.

Though now I am worried about Uncle Sam and the AC Group group ramming what they feel is best for us down our throats. After perhaps finally, leaving the double/triple taxation man behind, finding a workable healthier alternative, I'm an literally sick to my stomach thinking they will force me back to tobaccoo.

I think the ECA, CASAA. this and other forums, need to have a a sit down, and all come together with a common front page banner, or such, with a consistent message of warning. I've seen the various statements around, and donation thoughts, et al, but it seems as a group vapers are still too fragmented. Surely there are a few hundred thousand in the states alone. I would be happy to donate where I know it will do good.

How do we share a common voice?

Anyhow, glad to be a new member of this growing, though perhaps endangered, community
