Hello all,

First, Thank this community (all of you!) for the wonderful information.

Same story as many I have seen here. I have smoked off and on for 10+ years. Discovered PV, researched here some before buying a Prodigy.

I've been vaping almost 2 weeks now and am very pleased with the results. I have had 1 cigg since then to "test" my reaction and I am confident I need not look back. I am vaping both PG and VG (1, the other, and mixes) and even begun DIY juice.

I have 2 questions if anyone could jump in here...

1. I made PG juice with Flavor Apprentice "Vanilla Bean Ice Cream". This flavoring is yellow in color. The next day or two later, that juice turned a peach color. I did some searching and found some posts suggesting this could happen from exposure to UV. I probably had the bottle on the patio or something, in the sun. The question: Is it dangerous to vape the UV exposed juice? Should juice never be exposed to UV?

2. WARNING: Semi-"Gross" medical question below... not too gross but you've been warned;) Curious? Read on...

My bowel movements have sometimes/often been green since i started vaping. This has happened before to me in the past, and I am aware of various causes from diet, etc, but it has been a long time since I have experience this.

Might this be related to PG, VG, Nicotine, or other ingredients? I found not posts about this on the forum.

Welcome possum. As for your first question yes juice will get darker over time if it is exposed to sunlight or heat this will happen quicker than if it kept in a dark room but even then it will always get a bit darker in color. If your juice contains nicotine you might want to keep it out of the sun or heat since it will lessen the nicotine level in the liquid and will cause it to tint darker faster (Houston must be a hot place right now I live in DFW and man is it hot over here) I once left a fresh batch of juice i picked up from a local store in the car that was clear when I got it and with the windows up and the car not being in the shade when I got back in the car my liquid had turned a bit darker and tasted and smelled a bit sweeter then when I first got it the flavor had doubled from the morning to the afternoon that I got back in the car.
As for the second question well that's a bit different. I will always blame BM colors to diet. Some people have reported to get constipated, ........, bloated, and flatulent after they started vaping most of the times its just nicotine withdraw syntoms. The only suggestion I have for new vapers is to keep hydrated especially with this Texas heat and to stop looking at your stool every time you poo J/K. Just keep hydrated and if your poo is still green after a week you might want to go see a doctor.

I have had some flavors apprentice flavors get a bit darker as they steep. I think it has to do with the flavor, because I have other flavors that I mixed at the same time that are still clear. As far as the BMs. I don't think you ingest enough of anything while vaping to cause a drastic change in hue of your turds. LOL

The dark liquid is nothing to worry about. All of the liquid I've gotten has darkened to some degree over time.

And now for the less polite discussion:

The green color in the BM is actually bile. Bile, when processed properly at normal levels, gives feces the brown or yellow color. Fecal matter by itself is grey. Green means that your body is dumping excess bile, more than can be processed. It's normal and happens to everyone at one time or another. I get it two or three times a year. It should return to normal after a few days.

Off-the-cuff color guide to feces: Brown/yellow is normal, green is okay, visible blood is not as bad as it sounds, black is bad, grey is very bad.

I will continue to update this thread with my daily stool colors! J/K ;)

To think of it, Nicotine too has often had a laxative affect on me as well. Maybe i'm just "passing" it all through faster than before?

Good to know my juice and poos are ok! ;)

Yeah I mixed up a milk chocolate and mint liquid yesterday, and it turned a peach color also. Both my white chocolate and milk chocolate flavors from PA turn a peach color. None of my fruit flavors have changed at all.
