Hey guys, I'm a new member and also new to vaping. Little bit of background on my intentions and whatnot: I've never smoked an analog, and I vape nicotine free cartos, mainly for the taste and something to do while relaxing. I really wish I had found this forum BEFORE I went and purchased a kit from Green Smoke. I'm not dissatisfied with them, the vapor is nice, the tobacco gold flavor tastes good, and the price of the express kit wasn't bad for what came in it. My only gripe is that the price of the cartos are really too expensive to try a few flavors to find my favorite. I want to try more flavors and I would rather just buy some empty cartos and assorted juices.
TL;DR: I'm a complete noob, Green Smoke cartomizers are too expensive for variety.

My dilemma:
I don't know if I should try to find blank e9s, get an e9 to 510 adapter and some blank 510s with some juices, or get a Joye 510 mega manual batt from My Vapor Store (or somewhere else if you guys have a better suggestion) with some blank 510 carts as well as a 510 to e9 adapter so I can keep using my charger and left over gold tobacco carts.

My main goal is to get another flavor to try (probably menthol, so if anyone has any favorite menthol brands/retailers, lemme know), not return my GS kit (since I can hopefully use the charger and carts with adapters), and not buy anything I wont be able to use in the future. I really don't have much money to spend on this any more (thanks GS) so spending less than $25 on this next purchase would be ideal as long as I get some menthol to vape.

I'm really sorry for making this so long, I'm awful at putting too much info into things like this. If I can clear anything up for you guys, let me know. I look forward to more posts and more vaping in the future! Also, if any of this is just a really stupid idea (or if there are downsides to using adapters or anything) please let me know.

Welcome to the Forum. I'm quite aways from the cigalikes these days, and others will have to help you here on that one, but I did want to say hello and welcome you. Congrats on vaping and good luck on your VapeQuest. I hope you're at zero nic, right? Nicotine is very addictive, and I don't recommend it for someone who has never smoked, but zero nic is a nice way to go and many do the same here on ECF. Best to you!

I agree that an ego twist is the way to start if you are not sure that vaping is something you are going to stick with. On a limited budget like that its the way to go. Cheap and pretty dependable batteries for the beginning vaper. There is a vast amount of flavors for you to pick from in countless juice vendors. Welcome to ecf and welcome to vaping. :)

Well, thanks for those recommendations, maybe I'll look into an ego twist, I just really like the form factor of the 510s/808s. I can take them and some cartos with me wherever I go. Maybe I'll just get an adapter and a couple 510s for now, that way I'll have something I can take anywhere, then go for an ego twist. Thanks for the warm welcomes guys.
