Hey all, I'm relatively new to the vaping thing and I'm thoroughly hooked. I tried e-cigs a few years ago but due to lack of vape and taste, it didn't take. But now that's definintely not an issue. So here's my question...I want a new mod but one that's flexible enough to allow for both my nautilus and Kangers AND allow me to realize the full benifit of an RDA or two down the road. I want to start buiding but I'm not interested in doing the mech mod thing just yet. So what level of wattage should I be looking for and how low should the ohms be? I've seen a couple nice devices like the new Vamo7, Segelei Zmax or perhaps a dna 30 box mod. Do I want to do up to 30 or 35 watts? How about down to a .2 ohm. Is this what I should consider? I'm interested in TASTE not cloud production.

Thanks everyone and glad to be onboard.

Hi, Boomer, and welcome.
Research around and take your time. There is something for everyone. And one device might not do it all. It's OK to have 2 or 3. Backups are the vapor's way, my friend.

For me, I'm hitting this iStick like mad. It has a long battery life, almost 2 days between recharges, and will go as high as I need it. It won't sub ohm, limit of 1.0 ohm. But until you find that perfect device, throw down $40 and grab one of these. The Nautilus mini rocks on it.

A 30 watt box will work. There are even 100 watt boxes out now for reasonable prices, if you want to future-proof your purchase. The resistance of your coils is less important if you have a regulated box that can put out a lot of power. I would keep the coils between .2 and .6 though, for full power capabilities on these boxes, plus you will be practiced in a good ohm range if you decide to try mechs.

So I have only been vaping for 3 months but have purchased a lot of different styles of batteries and tanks.
I've used the vision spinner, spinner ii, mvp 2.0, epower 3, smoktech aro winder. Im a heavy vaporer so was always looking for a bigger and better battery. My most favorite is the mvp 2.0 and the smoktech aro winder. Both last me all day.
As for tanks, I love the flavor from the Aspire Nautilus and Nautilus Mini but always seem to.deal with leaking issues so I ended up getting the kanger aero mega and love it.
Im ready to take the next step in vaping and just ordered the Provari and Black Russian 91% v2. From everything I have been reading I'm excited to give this new set up a try.
