Hi all,

I've been reading threads here on and off for a while now, and finally joined up so I could ask a specific question.

I've been using (and loving) HotRod19579's calculator, but have a question about mixing very small test batches. Often times when I mix <10ml, the calculator itself shows no warnings but the print-out may say "desired nicotine level was exceeded." This only happens on small batches. Is this telling me that it is basically impossible to mix the levels I'd like in small 10ML test batches with my nic base (50-50 36mg)? The math seems to work out and again, no warnings from the interface itself, just the print-out.

Thanks again for all the great info here.

I found that sometime using 50-50 mixed nic base with small quantities draws errors in the results if you are looking to push the pg or vg higher. I prefer higher pg so my nic base is 100%pg, which causes me no issues at any ml quantity. My wife however prefers 50-60% vg so I get her nic base in 50/50. When doing small testers sometimes it yeilds a negative value field. I've learned how to adjust for that and she never complains about it being to strong or weak.

It's probably easier on the calculators on small batches to be 100% nic based on pg or vg, using which ever option you are going to be heavier on as the base for your nic. Next time I will be getting her 100% vg nic base.
