Hi all, Just registered and have begun to read your forum. There is a lot of interesting info here to absorb.

I fell for the Direct E-Cig $4.95 product scam and came to find this forum through researching their on line reputation. I have extricated myself from that mess by canceling my credit card as soon as I recognized their strange behavior and tried to call their customer service number at which no one answers the phone or emails sent by me. Anyway I still have their product and don't feel obligated to return it as I did not knowingly agree to any cost beyond the original $4.95 charge.

I am still interested in the ecig products and learning about them. I am looking at the njoy Pro model only because it is available through a couple of local retail outlets close to my location. I have been a heavy smoker for many years and am wondering if the Nojoy product would satisfy my needs or if I would need to buy something like the Ego/Riva line in just a short time. I can see where it would be easy to sink a lot of money into experimenting with all the products out there.

Would be glad to hear any advice on the subject.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, there are alot of great "stickys" at the top of the newbie section and they are very informative. I started with a Smoketip which is a kr808d-1 and uses cartomizers(cartos) which has the atty inside very convienient then I purchased an Ego (510) seperate atty and cartridge (cart) I also got some cartos for a 510 to go with it. so its really a comfort thing to start if you want the feel of a semi real cig(they are heavy) you should go with a 510 kit or a kr808d-1 kit if you want more batt life I suggest a mod type such as an ego (510) or pigcig (kr8) or there are others but do a little more searching before making your personal choice.

Welcome to the board Kufu. I would personally have to recommend an Ego or Ego clone. The only difference between the 510 and the Ego is battery life. They use the same atty and same carts/cartos/drip tips. My friends 510 gets about an hour and a half to two hours of vaping per charge; where as my Inferno (Volcano's version of the Ego) gets 7 or more hours of solid vaping per charge on the 650mah battery. It took me a day and a half to kill the 1000mah. I've also heard great things about the KR8, but haven't got to try one out yet. Sorry you had bad luck with jumping into vaping blind, the same thing happened to me when I ordered a crap product with no research to start with. You'll get a lot of good advice here.
