I'm a new member to *almost* vaping. After reading everything on the forums about a hundred times, I decided to jump in and order some stuff.

I ordered the [FONT=Verdana, Arial]eGo-T Tank Starter Kit and some juices. Some juices arrived but I am waiting for my eGo to arrive and praying to the vaping gods that Canada Post does not go on strike.

I was a long time smoker, 30+ years, and quit 3 years ago with the help of Champix, BUT I loved smoking and miss it a lot but I know that I can not go back to the cigarette habit. So I thought I would give this a try and see how it goes, as I have read many positive reviews about vaping.

Lots of excellent information here and it can get overwhelming at times, but I think I will understand a lot better about vaping when my eGo arrives on my doorstep.

Best of luck to you! I really hope your ego-T arrives! I give you a lot of credit for quitting for 3 years. I was never able to do it for three days. I thought I'd be a smoker forever!

Actually quitting with the Champix was my magic bullet and I had tried everything. I went into it not really wanting to quit and expecting it to fail as all of the other quit smoking things did. I had no side effects, other than quitting smoking.

I miss smoking an awful lot and I am really looking forward to vaping. I'm sure I will take to it like fish to water.

From what I hear, you were lucky not to have side effects.
And it's better to turn to vaping than take up smoking again.

Me TOOO! I was a pack a day (plus) smoker for 50 years, but I had to quit in 2007. I missed it SO much. Then, back in June 2010, one of my son's friends brought over a Greensmoke ecig. About 3 pulls on it, and I knew I was *saved*.

There's not a lot of us (folks that quit analogs first, THEN started vaping), but I know exactly how you feel. Its been a blessing and half for me, I can't tell you how much pleasure I get from it. 'Sides, I just hated letting my smoke ring talents languish

No side effects whatsoever, I was one of the lucky ones, I guess. Some people were suicidal on the drug.

I can't go back to smoking again, and want to breathe at the same time. asthma and cigs do not mix too well.

I'm just now presently reading on how to mix your own. Interesting stuff!

LOL Same here ancient puffer. I had some cool tricks with cig smoke too! Now we can again make smoke rings and the world is a much better place!

I think watching the vapour will be one of my favourite things about vaping. Sounds very relaxing.
