Provari's are cool but overrated and overpriced is my opinion...get a silver bullet w/ kick for 60% of the price...it'll survive the zombie apocalypse...or you could grab an ovale v8 kit for 1/8 the price and get a good 8-12 months out of it...the chinese are underrated in their ability to bring you innovative products while still fooling the vast majority into thinking 'made in china' has to = crap ;)

Well, if you do indeed get a Provari, you won't need a low resistance cartomizer. In fact, Provape advises against using them. A standard (2.0-2.4 ohm) or better yet high resistance carto (2.5-3.0 ohm) will provide a wider range of voltages to use on a variable voltage PV like a Provari.

I use Ikenvape cartomizers in my cartotanks. Either the Platinum or 510 Fusion. They are a popular, limited-production, premium cartomizer and often out of stock. The pre-punched ones go fast, but since you won't need those you might find some un-punched.

If not, either Smoktech or Boges are the popular choice. People prefer one or the other brand for personal reasons. I recommend trying a 5-pack of both brands to see which YOU prefer.

The difference between the v2.0 and v2.5 is strictly cosmetic. Both have the same inner electronics. Consider a slightly cosmetic blemished Provari from the clearance section to save some money. Still considered new and with full warranty. Clearance

I recommend only getting the Provari of your choice, an extension cap (if you want it) and the extended warranty (if you want it) and nothing else. You can get a charger and AW IMR batteries from RTD Vapor for cheaper. RTD Vapor AW Batteries

Both are great PV's, I own both (an un-Kicked SB). A Kicked Silver Bullet will cost as much as a new blemished Provari ($140). And I know of no dealer currently selling the Ovale V8 that are in stock.

And I respectfully disagree about the quality of Chinese PV's vs American made PV's. For one, the Chinese warranties will be far less in length, and once they have run their duration, you'll have no way of getting them repaired, as China doesn't do repair work. Consider them semi-disposable.

A Provari comes with a 1 year warranty, the option to purchase a second year, and Provape will continue to service a broken Provari for repair fees even after the warranty(s) have run their course. You do get your money's worth with a Provari. Pay once, cry once. Regret it, never.

I won't even get into the discussion of the quality of a Provari compared to any Chinese produced PV. Not worth my typing time.

is there a thread in this forum that teaches me everything I need to know for example I don't know what "punched" means or the difference between 801 or 501

What you need to know :p

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3230-1-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

510 and 808 refers to the connector threading that battery devices use to connect with juice delivery devices. Many of the cigarette-size batteries use the 808 thread. Most of the eGo mid-size batteries and the "mods" use a 510 thread connector.
