Hi, I thought I'd introduce myself by saying thanks to Kristin at the Model Specific Discussion forums for putting a lot of data in a way that is not daunting for a newcomer to comprehend. Also to all the people who commented on their experiences whether good or bad with various vendors.

I am currently a smoker in Uruguay, where smoking indoors has been outlawed. I saw my mother with an vaporizer and was intrigued, so I searched Wikipedia and Google. I got a pretty good idea on the fundamentals of what a vaporizer is and how it works, but no good pointers on what to buy or where to buy it or even an idea of how much one would be expected to spend to have a working kit. In fact the top hits on Google were sites that, after lurking the forums a few hours, I would not buy from.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out something rather curious, and perhaps one of you guys would care to comment on that: the Ruyan E-Pipe is being sold at one Chinese site for US$ 156.00 while the local (American) one has it for US$ 298.00, even with shipping this is an awfully big difference. Oddly the DSE601 has a significantly smaller price gap between Chinese and American sites. Just a thought.

Vendors are allowed to put whatever price they want on merchandise. Whether anyone buys it or not is another question. If I were in the market for that pipe, it wouldn't take me long to decide where I was going to buy it.

rjp, where did you hear about the nhaler mod that is coming out, do you have any articles I could read on it. I saw you post about it on some threads and I am very interested for information on it.
