I've been vaping for about 6 months on and off. Using a local store here in MO.so far. I've got an issue with coughing. I'm using an Ego PassThrough . Everdy day, I start vaping, I'll cough for roughly 2 hours every time I inhale. Drives me nuts. I've tried a different brand from another local shop. Don't cough but the nic content seems super low and is not giving me my fix. Started hunting on the web and found this place. Look forward to participating a bit.

Welcome to the ECF from another St. Louisian. I personally don't care for most juice available locally. Do some searches for flavors you think you'll like, then search some more! I've personally had a fairly high success rate with online juice purchases. I research diligently before ordering anything. It's time consuming, but you learn about vendors/flavors both good and bad.

Welcome! New here too, and not too far away in the jungles of Memphis!

Sounds like you need something with less throat hit. Smoking 40 years? That's a lot of scar tissue in your throat and lungs. You'd be coughing too if you used a nebulizer/breathing treatment. Other people have suggested getting a VG based juice. I'd say that's smart, but then you may miss the throat hit that helps you think you're smoking (yay brain tricks). Harder to vape incognito too because VG=all cloud. Try a 50/50 blend with a 12 nicotine. So far, they've helped me cough less. I only have about 15 years of smoking under my belt, but I coughed a ton at first, especially when I kept smoking and vaping at the same time.
