Hello, I'm a new member to E-cigarette-forums. I'd like to say thank you guys for letting me into the site to seek help for my Mech mod obsession.
Hopefully I posted in the correct topic seeing how it wont let me post in any other topic...

I have a Smoktech - The Natural with a Nimbus v4 dripper dual nano coil sitting on cotton, with 1/8 drilled out air hole running at .7-.8ohms (if that's the correct term lol).
I bought this setup from a friend that sold it to me for 25$ cause he knew I needed one and he had plenty of set ups. He also gave me a crappy blue imr 3.7v batt/ red efest 3.7v 18650's. Long story short they shorted which is beyond me.. I have no multi-meter (but I plan to buy one as well as a ohms reader). My question is what is a great battery where I can use with .4 - .8ohms with and not worry about explosion atleast til' I get the cash to get nice multi meter/ohms reader to get more in-depth with Watts, volts, ohms, power, current. I have my main basics on ohms and watts and rebuilding.. I plan to build a dual Dragon nano coil for good dense vape and flavor with 50pg/50vg. Any help/tips would be awsome! And any links for good batteries, chargers, ohms reader, 28g kanthal with cotton at good prices would be great too!!

Thank you E-cigarette for letting me as a new member to post!:2cool:

**ALSO I read the ohms law and Lithium Ion battery thread numerous times over and over again just to get the basics and feel for it.

You should also get the ohms calculator app for your phone. A fresh battery puts out 4.2 volts, and you also need to know the resistance of your build. Plug those known variables in, hit go and it gives you watts and amps. A normal 18650 usually only have a 7amp rating. to do the type of build you're talking about you need a 30amp rated battery. I was recently suggested the sony vtc4 and in my opinion its better than the efest 30amp i was using. If you decide to go lower than .4 ohm you should get a 60 amp rated battery.
