Hi @Fee fee and welcome to the forum. When I quit I lept a cheap clearomizer/tank of juice with the next highest nicotine in it for those times the "itch" just didn't seem scratched. I would hit it once and then go back to the regular nic level juice. It worked for me and usually a week is all it took to get adjusted to the lower nic. I say usually because I used the same technique to lower my nicotine down to where I am now.

Good luck in your vape journey, you CAN do it!

Thank u for ur reply. Find it a little strange that I am substituting cigs for e cigs but guess my in take of nicotine is far less.

It's an E cig that u can charge up. I have a little bottle of Juice that should last me a week at the rate I am going so far.

Is it small like a cigarette or is it larger? Does it have a name on it?

If you are interested in learning more about e-cigarettes (and all the parts and pieces) below are some blog posts by ECF member @Baditude that I highly recommend for someone new to vaping and/or looking to upgrade.

The chemicals are far far less in e-cigs than cancer sticks, so you've made a huge step towards a much better position health wise.

Plus e-cigs taste and smell much better! :)

Fee Fee, (in no way am I advocating this as a way to beat the cravings but) I thought I'd just add my experience. which was: I started vaping as a way to cut down on the ciggies (although I was only on about a dozen rollies a day). I started on a cheap clearomizer, it was okay but never going to replace the cigs, but after a bit of research and encouragement from other vapers I bought myself a small 20w mod and a Nautilus mini tank. Suddenly, vaping was more enjoyable than smoking and chucking money at "Big Tobacco", wrecking my lungs, shortening my life just felt... stupid. You've already made the first big, difficult step and it gets a lot easier as vaping becomes more enjoyable, think of it as a journey and think of all the great experiences you'll have (some slips and trips, sure, but mostly great ones) and now that journey will last a lot longer. Lots of luck and support
