Welcome to ECF, @Zepphra Gray! My favorite tanks are Subtank Minis. The RBA is so easy to build on. 
Whats up Zepphra! Glad you joined. How are you likin them claptons? I havent quite graduated from Kanthal yet altho I do make some damn good lookin coils
The claptons are just a little bit hard to make sure they are tight. Its obviously a thicker wire. But i love working with kanthal A1 . Its easy to do. Its always nice to have a reader. Just recently got one and its very helpful .

yah, but if you get comfortable building in them, then building in bigger decks or rdas is a bit easier
Hi and welcome. If you like building, seriously consider an RTA. They're easier to work on, and have more room. For single coils, a Lemo2, or wait for the Merlin to be released. For duals, an Alleria for top flavor or a Boreas for huge cloud and gigantic build deck. Be advised that last is a 25mm topper, which is why it can have a 17mm deck.
Welcome! I am a 3 year member and I still don't build coils. I barely like tieing shoelaces! Lots of good info here. Have fun
