Hello, I am a new member and am hoping to find as much information as I can on what actually works long term. I have gone through so many e-cigs that I can't count them.

I had ordered 5 atomizers and 7 batteries from Bestecig and while they worked great when they worked, I have three batteries and one working atomizer left. That was only like a month ago.

Then I ordered a E-cigarillo and a Pen style from E-cig.com. The pen style draw is sooo bad it is useless without a vacuum pump (You pull through the battery? WTH?!?!) and the e-cigarillo stopped working the same night I got it, the draw was terrible while it did work also. I was so frustrated I can't tell you. I told them I wasn't going to pay to send the stuff back as I was wasting even more money, just let me know if they ever get their product working.

I had the Janty kissbox for a for a while and loved it until it stopped working, it took a little over a month for that to happen. Then I replaced the atomizer and I was good for another time period until the usb went, they said they would replace it but then they forgot about me as that was months ago. I liked this one a lot the prices are just high for me for something that appears to be disposable.

Steve at puresmoker has been really cool but i can't keep the dse901 batteries working for any length of time.

So...I am digging for as much information as i can get on these things and what has worked for people. I thought it would be a smart move to join a forum where there a lot of other people doing product testing also. Hopefully I can learn something here :)

Welcome to the group......

I'd think with the experiences your having that you must be a "hard" and frequent puffer (not that that should really be putting you out so much with parts).

I'd suggest looking at the Mod'ers forum here and building your own based on the great tutorials they're giving.

Hope things turn around for you !!

I'm a big fan of the Pilot. I've never felt the need for one of the bigger models. I got a few extra atomizers just in case, but so far this thing has performed like a champ. I hear a lot of people going through different ecig models like crazy looking for the perfect one. This thing has filled my old analog's shoes perfectly so I think my search might have ended pretty quick. Everyone's tastes and needs are different though.
I know a lot of people ..... about the Pilot Hybrid batteries but unless I'm standing directly in high winds, they don't turn on...and I have yet to hit the cutoff. It sounds like you might be looking for something a lil bit bigger, otherwise...

Hello Darkest and welcome! I too am new around here, soaking up as much as I can and offering input based on my experiences.

As far as a reliable and durable e-cig I can't really offer any info based on personal experience, but I CAN tell you things based on popular opinion I have seen here in the forums. You said you tried the Janty Kissbox, but did you try the Janty Dura (actually they are taking pre orders on the new Dura-C right now so you might want to hold off on that one though until we get some good time-tested reviews in here on it)? The classic Dura got great reviews for the most part other than your standard technical issues here and there for a couple people. Overall though I'd say it gets way more good than bad reviews here. If you can get ahold of a classic Dura that would be a faily good bet, but again I'd caution you to probably hold off for now on the Dura-C because no one really knows how reliable it will be.

Another one I have heard great things about is the Intellicig EVOlution (or EVO). It's the same model as the Pilot from Puresmoker, though I've heard Puresmoker's atomizers produce a considerable amount more vapor than the Intellicig atomizers, as demonstrated in a head-to-head comparison in the Reviews forum here, so you might want to head over there and check that out. Based on what I saw there, I would recommend the Pilot over the EVO, or at least Puresmoker's atomizers, it's just that it's hard to catch Steve with any Pilots in stock.

So there you go - based on what I know, you'd do yourself some good to research the Janty Dura (classic, not Dura-C), the Pilot and the EVO.

Thank you all. I have been so busy with work I haven't had much of a chance to catch a break and catch up here. I had ordered that evening from ecigmall.com because they seem to be very close to the Janty's but haven't heard anything back and that was Monday. I'm now waiting now for a response to my e-mail.

My buddy has a Dura and swears by it, I was a little scared to try it because I generally end up with a mouth full of fluid with the fogger. Maybe eventually, but I'm a cheap ........ I was thinking maybe when Steve gets to town with pure smoker (Yes I live in Nashville) I'll try a batta-bing E-ciggarrelo thinger because of the batteries. I'll have to pay tax though, damn.

There has to be a easier way to do this, I'm still looking around, I saw the Trog stuff but he seems always out of stock and I'm not sure what to think of the smoke production of the 901's yet. That is a kick ... design though.

Yes, I am a very very heavy smoker, I have been smoking two packs a day camel unfiltered since I was 24 (I'm 41 now, damn I'm old) and I started smoking when I was 16 or younger. It's all kind of confusing now in my old age. But with e-cigs I have been stopped off the analogs for about 6 months, and for me who could only stop for three days before at my longest beofre i lost it, I feel like it's saved my life, so I'm a little desperate to find a way.

It's kinda scary though to realize and have it made clear to me though that I'm that addicted to a pesticide/poison. Ack
