Hi everyone ! just joined yesterday! I stumbled on this site while searching for info on ejuice. I quit cigarettes 8 months ago and have been using disposable pods and recently started mixing my own juice which I know nothing about except for what I can pick up on the web. I just mixed my first batch and have been trying to find a way to sample without filling a tank and found that I could use a drip atomizer but no clue where to buy or how to use one? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! This seems like a great group to be in!

Welcome to ECF, Chuckles7. I mostly use one of my RTA's and a 10ml squeeze bottle in the flavor R&D department. If a 'sample' tastes icky enough, dumping 10mls. of a DIYed juice doesn't make me lose any sleep. A penny saved might be a penny earned, but pouring down the drain 3 or 4 cents worth of juice is OK sometimes.

    Ok: RDA stuff.
For a while now it has been near impossible to get rebuildable stuff from brick-and-mortar stores. Disposables, cartridges, and pods are pushed hard. For older stuff like dead rabbits (a model good choice for your particular use case) aliexpress will have one. It may have a squonk pin (which is a 510 bottom adjustment screw with a hole through the middle for use with squonk mods) if the solid pin is not in it it will come with one and you can swap it out. They wick with cotton (like organic cotton balls. About a third of a cotton ball per wick) organic is best. Less aftertaste. What you don’t want is mercanterized. Japanese organic facial makeup pads were popular for a while. A bag is a lifetime supply. There is also this stuff called “cotton bacon”. It’s more expensive. I never saw the advantage myself. The cotton gets threaded through the coil (you can twist a point on it). There should be wicking videos for most attys on YouTube. Coil material is a whole other thing. That’s on YouTube too. Anything specific you need feel free to PM me.
