Here is a "new" method to fill a cartridge as much as possible. You may be using the straw mod or some other method, but when done, the liquid may not all be compacted down as much as possible. There is a way to ensure that all of the available cart space has liquid in it as follows.

Fill the cart until it is not quite full. If it has a wick depression, then as soon as the wick depression looks wet you can start. You can also move the cart filler to the side with a bent paperclip to check. When it's a couple of mm from the top, hold the cart between thumb and finger, open end facing up, and tap it hard several times on a flat surface. This will make the fluid settle down to the bottom of the cart.

Another method is to hold the top open end toward you and make swinging motions, using centrifugal force to pull the liquid towards the bottom of the cart. You may wish to cap the top open end of the cart when doing this to avoid accidentally slinging ejuice all over the place.

This is not terribly original of an idea. It is basically just the opposite of the tapping and thermometer shake methods of moving remaining liquid towards the front of a nearly empty cart to continue vaping it. It just occurred to me, I tried it out and it worked, I got a few more drops in my cart to vape, and thought I'd share it with the forums.

I remember that 'windmilling' you arms thread ... also to moved the liquid closer to the atty.

I just wonder if any of the mod makers took the idea of a low velocity centrifuge to heard and used one of those to push the liquid down in there.

I considered making one to sling the juice out of my manual batteries...but not fast enough to damage the micro circuitry.

Anyway, that tapping the cartridge sounds like a good idea. I have a small eyedropper (thanks to Johnson Creek). I take a tooth pick, push it down the sides to the bottom, pull it out, then use the small eyedropper.

But I think I'll give your method a try.
