Hi everyone, I've been vaping for about 6 months. Started with a spinner 2 and natulis mini, it was ok but draw to tight and gave me a headache. Then I bought a Tesla one with a super tank, love the tank still use it everyday, but the tesla didn't stay charged very long. So I decided to buy a back up for the tesla. I bought a Istick 100w and I like it, don't even use the tesla anymore. I'm looking for a smaller same kinda power to take out on the town or too work. I still want to use the super tank at .2ohm and I vape at between 55 and 70w. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear!

Hi @Giltee and welcome to the forum. I got a Wismec Reuleaux RX 200 ($50) before Christmas and it's really turning into my favorite mod. It uses 3 18650's so it has plenty of mah. I'm using the LG HG2's - 3000 mah 18650, and have 2 sets of batteries. I also got a 4 bay charger so the sets of batteries stay "married" in use and recharge. It's more ergonomic than the box mods and though you do have the added weight of the extra 18650 it's still close to the dimensions of the iStick 50 watt in height and width. The depth (thickness) is larger because of the extra battery. It is a temp control mod as well.
It's the black mod in the middle

If you are looking for small and pocket friendly, Giltee, you may want to look at an Evic VTC Mini. I believe 75 Watts is the max, single 18650 battery, but VERY tiny. The Evic VTC Mini is 22mm x 38mm x 82mm tall. The Reuleaux is 40mm x 50mm x 85mm in comparison. The Reuleaux is also going to be at least twice the weight. But the Reuleaux is not square, and does have both a good hand feel and fabulous battery life. I can see why many love it.

Welcome to ECF, and congrats on finding vaping, and this forum!

Thank you for the pictures! It's nice to see it next to others to get a better idea. I know it has some sort of chip and temp control hopefully it comes with directions because I don't understand any of that lol. I do like the price, just wondering if maybe a super tank mini will work with this?
I also have a couple Smok tfv4 tanks I use on it. I run the triple coil at 60 watts. Just because it has tc, doesn't mean you have to use the tc. I use mine in power mode, easy to set up and works like every other power mode mod. Simple to use, and the firmware is upgradeable and very easy to do as well.

Hi and welcome. I have recently ordered the Wismec part myself, and it's supposed to be a humdinger. But a mod using 3 x 18650 isn't going to be pocket friendly. There are any number of one battery mods out there in the 60-75 watt range that will be easier to deal with if you're going to carry it around. The iStick 60 is a one battery mod, as is the Sigelie 75, the Snow Wolf 75, the IPV D3 (I think that one's supposed to be 80), the Smok Treebox, and top-of-the-line the SX Mini ML; the list is about endless. Any of those should fire your Super Tank.

I actually did end up ordering the wismec rx200. I figured I've been updating since I started, so this one made sense because I can update it. I also ordered the smok tfv4 mini. Received both in the mail today! I love the rx200! I really like that it is a little heavy, but not slippery like the istick. As far as the tank...not so much. I think it's complicated, not sure which atomizer I should use, so went with the one that was already installed, but wasn't sure how to prime it. I guess I can always go back to the super tank. Thank you all for your help and suggestions, I really do appreciate it! If you have any advice on the tfv mini I'm all ears!

Priming your coils is actually pretty simple. This tutorial video helped me a lot and I'm sure it will for you too:

Thank you Louis, I was looking at that earlier but it says up to 60w. I usually vape above 60 so not sure if this one would work, maybe with temp control. I need to read up on temp control so I have a better understanding of how it works.

The Evic VTC Mini doesn't only go to 60w, that was the 1st models that came-out. The mod now comes stock from factory with 75w limit. The chip inside-of the Evic Mini is upgradable via any PC/Macbook. So, if Joyetech (the company whom manufactures this mod) should ever decide it can handle 100 or 150 watts, then they will release a software upgrade :D THIS makes the Evic Mini a SAFE BET into the future. :) Then again... 75w is PERFECT for most vapers anyways.. Great range, and great vapes all around! Joye just released their newest mod addition- The Cuboid- Which can reach wattages of up-to 200w ;) I simply ask that you please NOT be enticed/distracted by big alluring numbers. You buy that mod that you think is going to fit right in your hand; The one you think looks spectacular. Buy the mod that LOOKS nice to YOUR eyes, not ours, NOT the ECF Community's eyes.

There are quite a few mods that've hit the market that make me smile. The Kanger Subox is another one, in addition to the Evic mini, which caught my eye as a tiny little box-mod that outputs plenty of power. I've got both, and I use both, a-lot. A-LOT! They both rockkkk for the same (&a-few differing) reasons. The Subox seems heavier, the VTC has the nicer screen imho. But I truly love both. (X-mas gifts) You say you VAPE at 60w and would want something w/ higher wattage to be safe? The Subox Mini may-not be for you then, but the Evic MINI sounds PERFECT for your situation.

Let me be honest, the choices are out of this world these days... & the market has transformed in such a way, that competition has made-way for QUALITY to expand exponentially, in-addition to low pricing. Just, please promise me one thing- Promise to ENJOY your vape journey... & enjoy the vape. ;)

LOTS OF THEM.

IPV D2
eVic VTC MINI

These are awesome mods that can fire up to 75 watts.

Subox
Koopor Mini
Cloupor Mini Plus
Istick60tc

These can fire to 60 watts

All of them use a single 18650.

If you get an old eVic that fires up to 60. Update the firmware and it will rock 75 watts as well.

I would recommend the eVic hands down!

No wobbly battery door. The magnets are reversed so you can't put the door on backwards. The magnets are good and strong. I physically have to pull the door off you will not lose the battery door.
The eVic is a solid device that you may be able to drive a car over.

The new ones will do 75. If you get an old 60 watt version update the firmware and you have a new 75 watt model.

Several people have dropped the Rekeaux and broken the door. I think you would been happier with the eVic VTC. Drop it in your pocket or purse and you're set.

My only kicks against the Rekeaux is the breakable housing and the weight.

Well said. Could not agree more.

I LOVE THE Evic.

Small, light (about as heavy as the Coolfire4), metal housing. Can fire up to 75 watts. Strong magnets the battery door is not wobbly the little eVic is actually smaller than my istick60tc.

They reversed the polarity of the magnets so you can't put the door on upside down

LOVE MINE!

Well so far I'm in love with with the rx200 :hubba:. This tank though:nah: I'm pretty sure it's the operator lol. I get vapor but it's thin and I'm not getting a throat hit. I really want to like it though. I guess I need to give it time. Put my super tank on this morning and clouded up the room. If I get it figured out I'm writing a review on how to work it for dummies like me:p
