howdy! and welcome!

really depends on your preferences - i have both of those - the reuleaux is excellent for battery life, plenty of power (and even with three 18650's, not that big, nice form factor for hand)... the evic vtc mini is a great out and about mod, very versatile, good mod - both do TC on Ni, Ti, SS... personal preference, reuleaux, but i tend to vape around 50-60 watts, so the longer battery life capacity is a huge plus to me

Hello @CraigDxn and welcome to the forum. I have the Reuleaux and love it. I use LG HG2's in it for long battery life. The Evic mini is widely used as well.

If you do get the Reuleaux you need to charge and use batteries in sets/married. It's a safety issue so that one battery doesn't carry the load more than the others leading to heat and battery failure in the mod. I rotate 2 sets of the LG's and have each set labeled to keep them together.

Here are a few links for batteries and/or chargers (usually cheaper than vape shops):

Where to buy in USA
http://www.illumn.com/ (California)
Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor (Pennsylvania)
Liion Wholesale Batteries | Li-ion battery distributor (Pennsylvania)
18650 Batteries | Rechargeable Li-ion | Battery Chargers (Florida)
Earth's #1 source for IMR 18650 Batteries, Chargers, Cases & Wraps | IMRbatteries.com (Texas)

Good luck in your decisions :)

I don't have a Reuleaux so I can't comment on that. Many here like them pretty well though.

I do have 2 eVic minis and I love them. I don't think you'll regret getting one of those either.

The tank that comes with the eVic kit, the Ego one mega, many don't care for it. I like it alright with the rebuildable heads but many just get the mod and then choose a different tank for it.

Welcome to ecf and good luck with your search.

I have an Evic VTC Mini and think it's great. It is my primary all day mod at work. I think if you buy the kit it now comes with a different tank than the one that Marina2 mentioned, called the Tron, but I don't have any experience with that tank. As she indicated though, if it still comes with the Ego One Mega many people prefer to use a different tank.
It should be noted that I think I get more than acceptable battery life, but I tend to not be a high watt vaper. If you like lower resistance higher watt vaping, then the extra battery life available from the Reuleaux might be an important consideration to you. No personal experience with the Reuleaux but from what I've read I don't think you can go wrong either way.

what's your current setup of mod?
evic vtc mini is just good, one 18650, and RX200 uses three 18650, it will be much bigger and greatly heavier in hand, if you're not a cloud chaser or don't need vaping one more day per charge, then evic vtc mini is good for you, otherwise, grab RX200. both of them produced by Joyetech's factory, high quality.

Wow thanks guys some great thoughts for me there. Currently I only have an iStick 30w with a subtank nano so I'm definitely due an upgrade. The Evic kit I was looking at comes with the Tron-E tank, reuleaux is just the mod. What kind of tank would you pair with it out of interest, I was thinking the triton 2 or the serpent rta (don't really like how that looks but I've heard good things)

Any thoughts on the kanger nebox, worth it or no???

    Hey guys,

I'm looking into getting a new mod and was looking for some advice or suggestions!
I'm liking the look of the Evic mini or maybe even the reuleaux? Was wondering what your thoughts were on these or any others you could recommend. All advice great fully accepted!

Hi CraigDxn. I would look at the Provape site - some fantastic prices on what I like, the 2.5. Get on their email list for 10% off flash sales. A blem 2.5 can be had for 29.95 right now.

    Specials of the week

You would need to get the ext. cap also for 18650 batts. I think when the 2.5 is sold -out its gone for good, but I hope I'm wrong. My 2.5 will be 3 years old in April and still works flawlessly. Good luck

A brother of mine has been vaping happily for 14 months at 8-12 watts with an iStick 20 and N mini tank and doesn't want to change a thing. I'm using temp control at 400 degrees and avoiding vapor creep, meaning going higher and higher in power. Doing that means more stress on everything, thinner safety margin, etc., for what?

I just got a Uwell Crown tank yesterday and I am really impressed with it. I may be taking my Subtanks Mini's out of service to replace with the Crown. I have the rba for the Crown but haven't tried it as of yet. I use the Smok TFV4 tanks on my Wismec Reuleaux the most.
