New mod owner needs help - Temp Control

so I recently just purchased my first mod. I got the ipv d2, with an aspir Atlantis 2 tank. And I had to replace the coil with the spare one that comes with the tank. But I have no idea what the proper temp controls should be. When I got it and used it just the way it came the taste of the e juice was great. After replacing my coil my friend tried to help me adjust the temps. But the flavor is just dull, you can barley taste the flavor. Can anybody point me in the right direction of how I should have the temp set up properly for max flavor and clouds? Thanks in advance for any help!!

You must use coil heads in your tank that are made for temp control, and those coils use either Titanium or Nickel wire. The coils that came with your unit are not made for temp control.
Google is your friend.

Until you get the proper coil heads, set the mod for wattage mode and vape on.

Slofosho, actually you shouldn't have to change anything when moving from a .3 to a .5 ohm coil if you're using wattage mode on your device. Wattage mode adjusts the voltage automatically to suit the coil's ohms.
Okay that's why I can't change the ohms on it. I just assumed you had to adjust it yourself, cause after my friend adjusted it the reading for ohms was different. So I m guessing the difference in the taste of the juices, is because of the change of coil?

if your in power mode should be able to adjust your watts to taste, guessing a little lower .this might help IPV D2 announced. | E-Cigarette Forum
Ya I've literally tried adjusting it from 7 watts all the way up to 75 watts and I just can't seem to get it to taste the same as when the .3 coil was in. You can still taste the juice it's just not as, strong of a flavor no matter what watts I put it on. I might just pick up a replacement pack of .3 coil's when this one burns out.
