Hello I am gettign ready to try to DIY juice I have all my supplies I think I need, My question is the store bought stuff is harsh to me and I was told it was a 80/20 so I assume 80 Pg 20 Vg I am really wanting to go as higj on VG as I can with little to zero problems

I am useing ego c 1000ma and Smoketech Redux ego Clearomizer and the wife has the Ego C 650 Is it possible to go 100 percent vg or close to it with my setup and if not what do I need to look at.

I really want to try and stay away from pg to see if It is what is causeing my problems or at least the smallest ammount I can use

I'm probably the only person here with no experience with clearos. Higher vg will make your mix "thicker" for sure.

Yes and thats might be a problem as it cant wick fast enough , as I can vape it I am not sure

Welcome , but no reason why you can't do 80/20 , but with the VG , being the 80 % , using the 20 % PG to thin down the VG abit .

Thank you I will go ahead and try this first, I have seen where some ppl say they vape 100 percent VH but often wonder what they use or problems encountered in doing so

You could also thin it wth distilled water if you don't want to use PG.

It's possible they were talking about using Vodka and/or PGA to clean their cartomizers/atomizers. I use it to clean the coil heads in my clearomizers (viv novas, iClears, etc.).

I use 100% VG only no distilled water and haven't had much issue. Even devices that say "Will NOT work with 100%VG" seam to work just fine.

No , only start out with maybe 5% or less . Once a juice is too thin , not much you can do about it . And yes , besides cleaning , you can use vodka , and PGA to thin down your juice abit . But only a few drops at a time . It will probably add alittle throat hit as well , depending on how much you end up using . I do a 50/50 on the PG/VG , and have never had any wicking issues , but I'm sure you can do 100 % VG , and maybe just thin it out alittle , if you have wicking issues . using distilled water , vodka , PGA , or even some PG . It's not a substitute for PG, rather another ingredient to be used as needed or wanted. PG will help bring out flavors and TH. The only time I've used water is to thin a very thick juice so it wicks better.

Thanks for the input! Would it be advisable to diy some juice with vg and pg based flavoring with distilled water to thin out the mixture? Looking to try my hand at diy e juice(zero nic) soon, and its not easy getting supplies from where I am from.

PG and or VG, a little flavoring (I like The Flavor Apprentice) a couple drops of water, vodka...or none and you have....
0% nic Vape Juice !

It's that easy !

I have been told that vaping PG/VG without the flavoring most closely resembles the flavor/TH of smoking....
Now that I have said that...I am going to try it with my PG/VG 50/50 Base I have made up.....

Ok i just had to try the first batch early, as i assume it may stay the same or get better , It is not bad at all right now but would like to make it a little sweeter (watermelon) I have some TFA Sweetner how much should I add to a 30ml bottle to start and increase in what ammount to you reach the perfect spot
