So, I thought I would share my experience of getting into the vaping world.

I started off like most people by using the cigarette looking ones, and thought they were brilliant, but never really had enough smoke and ended up going back to the smokes.
Eventually I invested in a proper one with a Nautilus mini tank. This was great, but as I got more into the world of vaping I experimented with different mods.

From the istick mini 30 watts to a more powerful mod.

However, I was blown away by the vaporshark rDNA 40 when I tried it with a nickel coil on my nautilus, but it never had enough air flow. I found myself gasping to get more air.
This led me to try it with the Kanger tank and while that was better, the noise and spitting was horrible. The vape itself was also very hot.

My local vape shop in hampstead suggested I try the Atlantis 2 tank with the nickel coils and I can finally say I have reached my nirvana. I know its all personal and each person has their own combination that works for them.
Mine is the rDNA40 with atlantis 2 tank set to 450F and pumping it at 40W.

My downsides so far.

No one told me that when you start lung inhaling, you really should drop the nicotine. I was running 12mg and found it harsh and sometimes painful to take. Dropping it to 6mg made it so smooth and with a lung hit, that gave me more than enough nicotine.

I am using the EFEST batteries (3100), and I get through most of the day with it. Before sub ohms, I could get days out of my batteries, but I was only running at 10W!!
With my latest setup, I am going through the juice faster than my ex wife spent my money! I am filling up all the time and I bought the INNOKIN U-can purely to keep topping up my juice. Reality is that I could just carry the juice bottle, but this feels more secure if I accidentally sit on it or it gets squashed for any reason. I wish the Atlantis 2 had a bigger tank. May invest in the mega, but it is huge and the airflow is different. Would be interested in hearing peoples opinion of that.

Going back to battery performance, there is a clear drop in vape production as the battery drops to the 40-50% mark. So I obviously carry a spare battery. I am annoyed by that as I now carry so much stuff on top of my rather large device already. Summer is hear and I without a coat, my pockets are getting very full!!!

Juice wise, I'm using the Epik Juice. Love the flavour.

Thats me sharing my experience over the last 12 months!

Hope I didn't bore you.

One thing I forgot to mention, is that I switched tips using the adapter. Only thing with all the Aspire tanks is you do get a build up of liquid at the bottom of the tip. Do all tanks do that?

Welcome!

I find that I'll get some juice that recondenses at the bottom of the drip tip if I don't clear the chimney out on each vape. I'll often pull for another half-second or so after I stop firing, just to clear some of the remaining vapor. That seems to help me.

Sounds like you've traveled well in your vaping journey. Congrats on finding a setup that's right for *YOU*
