New Orleans Brick and Mortar-Who wants it?

We've been kicking around the idea of a brick and mortar, walk-in, bona fide, retail operation in New Orleans for about the last 8 months.

There are a handful of retail stores who have (limited) supplies... One kit, overpriced juice, some disposables, etc. We get calls daily asking where we're located - mostly from out of towners in need of something that they forgot to bring or that broke on them.

I'm looking for the locals. The New Orleanians. It doesn't make sense for us to open a retail operation for a few non-locals a week who need an atomizer. I'm trying to figure out if y'all need a centrally located store that you can run to for your supplies.

If you're from NOLA please give your feedback. If you know other vapers in the area, ask them to do the same. Basically it's a big step that I want to get a little info on first.

dude, pleeeeaaaase do it! i've never heard of you, but the ra shop wants 20 bucks for 10mil of juice and does not carry 0mg nic juice (which is my preference), i'm local, and you'd get my buisiness instantly, and i also have converted a few friends, they don't come to the forum, but for the love of god do it!

edit: screw what i posted before, let me know when you'd open, and i'd try my damndest to be your FIRST customer in a storefront, hell i'm all about supporting the local businesses in town....i'd come in vaping and leave with a sack full of juices

thanks i'll definately PM you about it, i you have quite the juice selection as well....only problem i have is that i just ordered like 100ml of juice from my usual supplier (before i knew there was a local hookup) anyways man i hope you set up shop, i've been in a pinch a couple times with cartos and juice and i just dread going to the ra shop and spending that kind of cash on juice, or sweating out that carto lasting me another two or three days, plus like i said, i'd rather buy local anyday

Spread the word man...I've definitely reached out to just about everyone I know who vapes and lives in the area...and they were totally in love with the idea...I say if you have the capital man...do it...have a grand opening with juice tasting just to get the word out and take the city by storm...let your friends on the Mississippi coast know too...closest store around is, from what I think, in Texas...and right now we are at the mercy of high juice prices and inferior hardware if we shop locally...you would easily run the market

I agree with the juice flavors too...I will definitely be ordering sometime soon...even if just to sample...perhaps you should send some of your higher rated juices over to PBusardo as well...you would get more capital in if he reviews you well and orders start rolling in!

I would love a local store. I would rather keep my money in the community then spread it throughout the country. I play WAKA kickball and recently there has been a move through our group of people to quit smoking. I've been sending people I know to vapors-choice because I didn't even know yall existed. However, if yall had an actual store then yall would pull in so much business. The main complaint I hear from people talking about starting is that they would rather walk into a store than order online. The problem with that is you go to The Ra Shop and pay 20 bucks for 10ml of juice or 90 bucks for a small starter kit.

God knows we're a special kind of people. New Orleans is like a family. We love some of our family members unconditionally. We can't stand others, but don't let someone not from here talk negatively about any of us, or we'll kick their butts! This community loves to support itself, and I promise you that's I'll do all I can to support the NOLA vapers. We'll offer quality prices at fair prices. None of this $20 10mL nonsense. No $120 crapkits either.

what i'd like to see really doesn't matter because it is your place in the long run, but i do like your idea of a "lounge" area...

what i really wouldn't mind seeing is an area that you can have set up and charge a premium to mix your own custom flavors on the fly for your juice, with premixed bases laid out in nic quantities, sort of like a mad scientist area for those looking to experiment with flavorings but don't have the time/space/resources to DIY on their own, but are still interested in doing it...

only other thing i could think of is like a "demo" area where you can have folks come in and try out your products, because if someone comes in and smokes, puffs on a PV and likes it, then you get a sale.....the only issue is sanitation...which could be solved by a handful of cheap drip tips or something, also your demo area could be a spot where some of us try out your juice...because i'll be honest...there are some times i buy a bottle of juice and HATE it...i know as soon as i've taken one drag i need a new atty and will not finish that bottle...but with the option to try before i buy, hell i could walk out with several 30ml bottles in that case...simply because i wouldn't have to waste cash trying all the crap to find the one diamond in the rough....

Just an FYI...the former Dr. office on Esplanade isn't out of the question, but the waiting room turned retail floor might be a little weird. There's this strange hallway from the door to the floor. Don't know what I think about that.

first you've mentioned any real estate possibilities...if you want my opinion, if you're not 100% sure, don't jump....go with your gut on real estate...its a total pain sometimes, but worth it to get something that you WANT.

I totally agree. There are so many benefits to this Doctor's office, but the couple of negatives might keep me out of it. Looking at another space today.

The store would definitely have supplies for almost everyone. 808/901 should be available online within a month, and the store would open with them. I am personally a fan of the 510 but I understand that everyone has a preference.
