The store would definitely have supplies for almost everyone. 808/901 should be available online within a month, and the store would open with them. I am personally a fan of the 510 but I understand that everyone has a preference.

mod supplies too? Cause I'll be honest I'm thinking real hard about going exclusively to the lavatube

Hey there; another NOLA vaper checking in here. I just took the hit at the RA shop and brought my dad an eGo-W kit (1 battery, 2 clearomizers) & 2 bottles of juice. Don't get me wrong, it's all nice stuff but i payed out about $140!!!

I can't wait for this to become a reality; let us know when the grand opening happens, lol.

P.S. Glad you made it through the storm A-OK!

First, good luck with your retail venture, I'm sure a quality place in N.O. will be a big hit. I'm from Arkansas, and visiting New Orleans for the weekend. I was looking for a place to get supplies to get my sister-in-law started, and found your website. We took off to Esplanade to find that there wasn't a shop :(
(Of course, I found this thread after the trek.) I will be visiting New Orleans in the future, and look forward to visiting with you then. I was looking online and found RA, but after the posts on here, I think I will just wait til I get home.

You can put your store in kenner, metairie, uptown, downtown, the French market, the garden district,a shack on the side of the road in Belle chase, or anywhere...I'd still be a customer...as far as kenner is concerned though...it would be amazing...you wouldn't have to worry about parking, and there are no parades through kenner...so people would always be able to get to you during Mardi gras season when all the tourists that vape come in...food for thought

Basically I think I have it narrowed down to 3 spaces. Post Isaac I hadn't had time to do anything. We've been on such a backlog. That stupid, wimpy, slow-moving SOB really screwed us up. No power for 6 days, internet for 8 days, then another day with no power after the internet came back.

The three in contention are: The Dr's office on Esplanade that I'd talked about before.

The space in Kenner on Williams near Vets.

Then there's a space just off Carrollton and Earhart. It's kind of Uptown/Midcity/Hollygrove depending on what corner you're on.

There could be a lease as soon as next week. Then a couple of weeks for permits/licenses/inventory. Mid-October is a possibility. Early November is more likely.

figured i'd post it here for all you local types to know, i forgot my trustfire 18650 charger at work over the weekend and ran into a pinch...called around...battery world on severn carries the batteries and chargers, although as usual, it costs a bit more than if you were to buy online...about 14 bucks for a 2600 mAh...can't wait for the store to open though man, just dropped an order yesterday for some juice....keep us in the know! i want to be there on opening day!

Well, I hadn't posted here in a while, because there has been a lot going on for the last month and a half. Post-Isaac/Pre-My fast approaching wedding.

I have a space. I move in on Monday, and we'll be open for retail business soon. You'll be able to pick up web orders in store by this time next week (I'm hoping), then at the end of the following week we'll be closed for a week so I can get married/honeymoon etc.

After that, we should be good to go.

The shop will be Uptown/Mid City/Hollygrove area. Basically a block from Earhart and Carrollton.

More information will be coming soon.
