New PCC, style, threaded and longer batts, love it

One week after i bought my mini pcc, I got my sister one. Hers came with the same mini pccc case, but has a screw in battery charging connector. But has opened ended length in the pcc.

so while you do have to screw in th ebatt you can use all batteries except the xl's . with the same pcc

is this the new one or and old model.

It is not the new one, but the new one has been taking a while, so in the meantime I asked for threaded connectors on the current model. I'll be honest though, I had no idea they were able to implement it last batch, which was just a quick resupply order, so this change snuck past me or I'd have been boasting about it already. I have a feeling they were already preparing to switch to the threaded style before I caught up with their reasoning.

SO yes, the Mini-PCC now accomodates both 65mm and 78mm batts! And both auto and manual!

well this is good to know being as the first week of my vacation the little plastic pieces that hold the battery in on my pcc broke. so i had to cut a condom in half to get a battery to stay on the connectors. dont think its still covered under warranty as it has been more than 30 days since purchasing it. what is in store for the new pcc design? should i wait to purchase a new one?

I just got one of these too. Was wondering if the LED is still supposed to glow when charging like on the pin one, because the display says mine are charging, but no led like usual. Anyone have any idea??

I havent had a chance to have my hand on the new one long. My sis is using it like a demon. but on her mini's the LED tip
stayed lit.

She has mini batts so its not a issue for her, but with the battery in the pcc I wouldn't wanna use it as a all the time charger for bigger batts. while the batts last longer you probably cant get more than two charges on that pcc. Like the option though and a great fix to a issue. Some have longer batts already in there rotation so it allows more options for users +1. im a still a fan of the pcc now lets get it in military grade so i can sit on it lol.

Just the one extra slot as before. But the real NEW one will have three carto slots.

No ETA yet, but I have a first case prototype pic. We're working on making it narrower, though, and I should have that prototype soon.

I like the look leaford, i know its a proto. Something i notice in my mini pcc is in my right hand when opening the case it pulls to one side. Sure this is because the opening mechanism (spring maybe) but it makes it seem less solid. If its possible maybe the designer can come up with a way that equal force is being used on both sides when its being opened. In the pic you show of the new pcc it appears that there is also some things not straight when opened. I think this would make the pcc last longer because im afraid its gonna wear out if i dont open with two hands, and will give it that more solid feeling.

PS love my bloog, and my sis just got one and she loves it also.
