Hey folks,
I have a poldiac that is a day old and after making a ribbon coil (2 1/2 wrap 1.1 ohms on a ss mech wick) on my AGI, I noticed I cannot get it to fire every time and when it does it just doesnt give a good throat hit.
I have watched the videos, adjusted the bottom battery connector on the switch and adjusted the top connector no the switch to ensure it makes good contact with the atomizer. It still does not fire all the time and gives a light if any throat hit.

Thoughts or is this just customary with mech mods? I have a provari and it hits like a train on a 2.2 ohm cartomizer.

If you can, if you haven't already, check the voltage, underload and drop. That may give a clue to where you're losing hitting power.

with the poldiac, you really have to press the center of the button and all the way in to complete the circuit, i'd pay attention to that.

as for how it hits, its a mech, so its completely dependent on 2 things, the resistance of the coil you build and the voltage of the battery. on a fresh battery (4.2v), lets just say it your loaded voltage will be approx 4v, that should make a 14w vape at 1.1ohms. as battery drains, the hit will get weaker and weaker. (loaded voltage drop, the lower the resistance atty you stick on there, the more the mod will drop, its just the rules of a series circuit)

a provari will hit at whatever voltage you set it up all the way til the last bit of battery life.
